I have seen something about the cassini, where it will be crashed into Saturn's Atmosphere and the nuclear powerplant onboard would be caused to explode because of the atmosphere, causing it to ignite.. The sun is fission reaction so they would need a fission bomb to ignite it, not a comet. A single bomb imo would not do it, maybe a cluster of bombs could cause it to start an irreversible reaction.
