tomorrow i am going to try the dior..I will try what you suggested and see what happens.. there is always a learning curve when you buy something new. did i tell you about the sea salt mask?-if not works wonders on mature skin",, just use plain old sea salt add water rub your hands together and pat on your face.. i let mine dry for 20 minutes then rinse off with hot water,,the softest skin is left behind,,(some fine lines are actully lessened or gone!) i just got the Chanel pro lum... at first it felt a tad mask like.. and tight on my skin.I used clean fingers to apply,,maybe a brush is better....but it does look moist and dewy. your look is fabulous!!.. i need to play with mine a little more,, i also got the dior.. as i age i need to not skimp on the foundation.. Shelly I understand sometimes good name products don't always work for everyone. You can return it and get your money back, if it is still not feeling 'good' on the skin. Shake the bottle, then apply very little on a moisturized skin, using either your fingers, or a brush, then also use a wedge to remove any excess. I like to use on top of the moisturizer, a product called MURAD Perfecting Serum, it prepares the skin for makeup. it costs $60. How is the Dior foundation working ? xoxo

That is ok, it is better to have one good brush than no brush at all.. which Chanel brush do you have? is it an eyeshadow brush or face brush?

I think Chanel's makeup style is classy, not too soft and not too invisible.. just the right amount of colors (unlike MAC). Each cosmetics company has a different style.. by the way did you know Chanel and Bourjois are sister companies..?
