@Josephdaz1 My husband his 2 brothers and my father-in-law do think they are doing a service to their country over in Afghanistan and they know they are making progress over there. They also know they will not be able to fix everything over there completely but they are making a difference. My husband just came back in Sept from his 3rd deployment and will be back there at the end of this year and my father-in-law is there now.

President says he wants to create jobs but companies such as Apple, Intel and Ford build factories in other countries sending our jobs overseas. They say they are going after terrorists but will not get Osama bin Laden in Pakistan and reward Pakistan by giving it 3 billion dollars a year.

@Josephdaz1 My husband his 2 brothers and my father-in-law do think they are doing a service to their country over in Afghanistan and they know they are making progress over there. They also know they will not be able to fix everything over there completely but they are making a difference. My husband just came back in Sept from his 3rd deployment and will be back there at the end of this year and my father-in-law is there now.

They say they care and yet are cutting programs to help Americans. They say they need to spend less and spend over 700 billion dollars a year on the military and 96 billion on Iraq and Afghanistan. President says he wants to create jobs but companies such as Apple, Intel and Ford build factories in other countries sending our jobs overseas. They say they are going after terrorists but will not get Osama bin Laden in Pakistan and reward Pakistan by giving it 3 billion dollars a year.

In terms of Apple, while they are not my favorite company, they are one of the companies that hires American engineers to design their stuff. Ford has still hires a lot of highly paid American factory workers. Pakistan has been fighting the Taliban for a while and if they don't help them, the extremists could further destabilize that country. Finding Bin Laden easier said than done. ;).

I think the U.S. Government should give an opportunity for the soldiers to have a say in their decisions....because there's a misconception to this... soldiers are supported because they have no choice but to fight, it's fight or jail, personally I would run away from the country; Call me coward, but I'm no killer and were currently not "defending" our freedom. Tell me...was anyone more free before 9/11 or afterward? We should do like other countries, chill down, there's no need for war.
