  • hihi hab was geiles entdeckt haha

  • 3:14 "shit, she's resistant to NERF guns"

  • With nostalgia filter turned on: Epic!

With nostalgia filter turned off: Turd!

  • What I want more then anything else is a collection of Panzer Dragoon 1, 2 and Saga.

  • This game was the basis of all my imaginary games as a child. I literally WAS the dude in this video. My imagination *soared* and expanded upon all the lore and fantasy in the incredible world that this game, not wordlessly but purely visually, created. So, seeing this opening video after 16 years, yeah, it brought back some memories.

  • Only for this intro this game was better than Zwei >.<

  • I'm one of the few who has heard of this game just sad the series as a whole is overshadowed by more known games and the newer gene of gamers would look down on it just cause the graphics are not dark and gritty as it is in COD which makes it a lot depressing

  • @Through011 Sega games are always full of color.

  • HEY YA SONS OF BITCHES! WAZ UP? I JUST BOUGHT THIS GAME FOR 14 BUCKAROO'S AND AT FIRST I THOUGHT I WASN'T GOING TO LIKE IT BECAUSE HOW I WAS ALL HYPE UP FOR NIGHTS INTO DREAMS JUST TO DISCOVER THAT IT WASN'T MY CUP OF TEA, AND SO I LOOK AT CLASSIC GAMER REVIEW OF THIS GAME AND HE WAS LIKE ITS NOT THAT GREAT OF A GAME, AND SO I HAS VERY SKEPTICAL AND SO NOW I'M PLAYING IT RIGHT NOW AND IT'S FUCKING KICK ASS! I LOVES IT ALOT! HELLZ YEA!

  • indeed, one of the best game ever made. And it stand the tand of time!

  • I love this intro.

  • Childhood memories right here!!! It's a shame... I never did beat this game! Lol:/

  • God it's been over ten years since I've played this.

  • I still have the original copy and still play it on my saturn including Nights, Burning Rangers, VF 1 & 2, Vcop etc.... I can still hang on to the good ol'days baby...

  • This needs a remake.

    Bad.

  • 3:14

Keil fires arrows, but they bounce off the creature's armor like dead flies.

Creature: "Man, get the fuck outta he-uh wit' dat shit."

HAHA XD! These Panzer Dragoon Characters make such dumb decisions.

  • Surely, one of the buried gems of the saturn

  • This game was epic! I wish my computer could play it, i have a copy of it somewhere....

  • Thumbs up if they should redo the series.

  • @Timshady1986 They did. & they should Re-redo it forever.

  • not that amazing

  • anyone used to remeber a game called Scarab? :D

This and scarab were my favourite games ever.

  • Wow, I accidently played this video with the remix of a panzer dragon orta song 'ancient weapon' and both sounds of that video and this make an oddly close connection to the emotions of this video, someone try it, its pretty cool, play them at the same time. The remix moves in and out with emotion at the same time of this video. The other song is 'not just another weapon orta remix'.

  • @velociti92 the other song is Panzer Dragoon Orta More Than a Weapon OC ReMix [Ancient Weapon 1]

Type that and play this and the other video at the same time, its really cool.

  • I still have this game, how much do you think i can sell it for?

  • @LemonsArentSour Good copies go for $20-$40 depending. Now the Panzer Dragoon Saga is a different story. Used copies of that go for $200-$300.

  • The music is so epic!

  • i played this game so much... it was perfect, in game, controls, history, everything

  • Games like this will never be made again. Nowadays it's all about graphics and shitty storylines. What a shame.

  • @chorgaparada You've never played Uncharted 2?

  • And look at the graphics! This is 1995 people! Just goes to show the Sega was top game back in the day.

  • @bigbadvader369 1994 actually believe it or not.

  • Wow, I haven't seen this in 14 years! I remember playing this during the fall of my freshmen year of high school.

  • this will forever be an epic masterpiece. this was back in the day when games lick this were truly classic.

  • Got this game since it first came out and you know the best part theres not a single scratch on the disc and have another copy which is still factory sealed. Not letting this game out of my hands.

  • Que juegazooooo

  • Legendary Saga.

    Hail.

  • I believe Avatar ripped off the dragons from game for there movie. But what when isnt Hollywood doing that.

  • @jhelmetchewy Take the imagery in the new prince of persia movie, someone has blatantly being playing assasin's creed : )

  • i remember beating this game when i was like 12 in 2 days tops...

  • this was a pretty sweet game.

i remember renting it. good times

  • Ok, i'm the ne sitting on the dragon, lol. I hope they remake all the old games again making them better like they did with FF

  • ti looks like Lagi and his friend

  • Wow. This was from the Saturn? It looks like a sixth or seventh gen game.

  • @TheUselessGamer Yes, but this was just a video not rendered by the Saturn. Look at the gameplay videos and you'll see what the Saturn was capable of

  • I was 20 and working in my friend's video game store when this came out. I spent my paycheck to buy the Saturn when it came out, and it came with this game along with Daytona USA. The intro to this game still sends chills down my spine, especially at the end. Fantastic!

  • @mnakonechny at least your mind and money was ready. I was ten, and my 16 bit era had a sudden shocking end xD well, except playing psiv and soleil/century soldier and alien soldier of course :3 gosh, why have I sold alien soldier that days... I think the endboss/-video is also way ahead its time

  • That is about 86% of my childhood right there. God I love this game. Todays generation of gamers have no idea what they're missing.

  • back in the day 95 i was 15 years old and bought this game from my save money. I was blown away . i wonder why there arent making this anymore . 10/10

  • I just watched Avatar....This game was the first thing that popped into my head.

  • I'll never ever forget this series...

  • OMG I HAVE THIS

  • So bad ass in its time

  • music reminds me of neverending story

  • if you guys are lucky to find PD1 becasue it was actully ment to be a one off game and only 10'000 or so copys were made... luckly i still have PD1 and 2 lol

  • You're talking about Panzer Dragoon Saga, not Panzer Dragon 1. Though it still took me a while, and $65, to find PD1.

  • To help promote panzer dragoon saga 2, Yakuza 3,4 and shenmue 3, look at my profil (sega nation)

  • what do you mean ? how can i promote panzer dragoon saga 2 or a sequel

  • The only reason sega saturn died off fast is because no one new good games like this for it,it had some bad ass games.

  • This makes me wonder why people picked on the Saturn so much. :|

  • this is still probably one of the best intros for any games out there..

  • I love it when the blue dragon fly's in the first time, hes like=0 lol Awesome!

  • Great graphics, maybe even better than ps1

  • 3:45 thats how i feel shocked

    at the awesomness

  • How come the image looks all big and sexy here? Have they just blown it up? Great game - a stunner for when it was made - I have magazines just announcing the Saturn in the West, we were all on Super Nintendos and stuff then (Mega CD was shit), this didn't come out much after that! Amazing for the time!

  • When i was a kid i had a Sega Saturn, i got it second hand and it came with a load of games and demo's. one of the demo's was for this game, and to this day i still regret never being able to complete the game. is it still available on the Saturn or any other platforms?

  • Go for Ebay or Amazon - I got copies of the 2 Saturn games recently (and PD Orta for the Xbox in a local shop which was cool!). Ebay is your friend - I don't know Craigslist well but maybe there too..

  • you can buy it from ebay. it isn't too expensive

  • EPIC Game! The music, the presentation, the gameplay. Great Times! The theme song and ending song both overwhelming.

  • I cannot overstate how literally MIND BLOWING this was back in May 1995 when it came out. Going from Sonic & Knuckles and Super Metroid one day to this the next day... No advancement in gaming since then has impressed me as much as this did back then. This was beyond huge.

  • yeah same for me, was basically the first real video game i played after mostly sharewares of crappy pc games ^^, mind blowing indeed! it wasnt only the new technical advancement - id say the art direction of the entire series is just unmatched, they still deliver the best maps, creatures and machinas, and by the railshooter nature they throw it all at you without delays, no running around in quests and such, really the pinnacle of the art

  • You've got it spot on.

I Remembered gettin this when it came out in japan and got it on import back in 95.Had to show my school friends at lunchtime and they were amazed!!.Oh what memories...

    Fantastic intro...

  • ahhhh i miss that game so much

  • i still have a working cd :D

  • Comment removed

  • Ahh, I remembered this game, i played it on Windows 98 when I was 5 years old

    Memories !

  • Same here! :)

  • SEGA..where are you now??

    Bring back those days again...

  • i'm pretty sure they sold themselves to Sony, that's why all the sequals to their games go to the play station

  • They did not sell themselves to Sony, how could they be owned by Sony if they have games on every platform?

They merged with Sammy (a pachinko company) shortly after the Dreamcast was discontinued, and they still make and publish console and arcade games today.

  • 1:15,, that lizzard pulled some sick dodging moves right there,,, anyways,, Great intro! Great game! love the panzer series, thanks for bringing us the intro man :)

  • Best intro ever. I actually cried when I saw it again, before that I played the game at a friends house when I was like 6 or 7 or maybe 8 and I couldn't believe how great it was. It's still a masterpiece now. I especcially like the design of the ship and how you really don't know what anything is made of, what material.

  • hah, i used to play it on my grandfather's laptop when i was that age, i especially remember that voice at the beginning

  • O tak rok 1995 i Sega Saturn :)

  • Dude this is 1995! absolutely amazing! still got my copy and I love how sega invented a language for the series "Panzerese".

  • sega 4 life

  • just finished playing it right now, dam is it good, i 1st played this when i was 4, lol

  • first game i ever played in my life

  • This game was epic! The Music is simply legendary! It's a damn shame that this game is so underrated and unknown.

  • @mets5knicks3 Its not that unknown amongst people who like games... : )

  • @mets5knicks3 and rare

  • @mets5knicks3 not was...is

  • this was back when video games were good.

  • @floodwarning43 Cry more nostalgia faggot

  • @GoldDragoon07 wow did he honestly hit a nerve with that comment?

  • @NothernSide Not really, no.

  • @GoldDragoon07 fuck you asshat

  • @floodwarning43 eat a dick you old fuck

  • @GoldDragoon07 fuck you you arrogant know nothing scum ball of a brat

  • @floodwarning43 that's an extremely arrogant and ignorant thing to say

  • @floodwarning43 HAHAHHA OH LAWD

  • I can't recognise in wich language are they talking.

  • it's called panzarese. a language developped just for this game series!! it's based on german, latin and japanese

  • I invite to listen all PDS music in my Channel.

and Remake Panzer Dragoon Saga for XBOX

  • this game is like shenmue to dreamcast, a real master piece, pure art , great movie, excellent on saturn.

  • screw you, secret103, u probly play shitty games like crysis, thinking that graphics make a game.

  • Damn right people! I played Panzer Dragoon, Panzer Dragoon Zwei and Panzer Dragoon Saga and all of this games was a masterpiece! I played in them something like 10 times and ya now what? .. I could play another 1000!!

    AWESOME GAMES!!

  • i'll never forget the feeling brought by this game, it was so haaaa :D magic

  • epic! this game is pure win. R.I.P sega saturn

  • i bought a sega saturn 2 days after realease and then bought panzer dragoon when it was released,i still remember playing for the first time with a few friends and we had to watch the intro alone about 10 times before playing the game.

such a breathtaking introduction with totaly awsome music throughout and extremely good gameplay with high score factor makes PD one of the best games ever created,PDZ had a more fluent intro carrying on throughout levels and even better gameplay.

  • this is why SEGA can beat the shit out of others company

and not to mention Team Andromeda consist of master-veteran-developer gathered in one place

    plus it's designed by MOEBIUS.

    That's what I called Masterpiece!!!

  • I still have it...Awesome!

  • obviously you don't know what a good game is

  • i have this mutha efin game. i loved it, passed it. shit i even was able to get my hands on the rpg version to bad my saturn died! rest in peace. the memories.....

  • omg!

I loved this game! i have this game , it is still alive xD!

  • One of my fav games of all time, beating half-life and halo, of course thats just me.

  • This made me remember.

  • thanks for posting this..

i remember this when i first got this imported from japan and paid £85 for this..

intro was so amazing, along with great music and great game..

    always remember this

    thanks for posting......

  • thnx U

  • i really liked the game and i like the intro thanks for posting it

  • Great intro, spectacular for 1995.

  • I searched for this video because I was reading an article about how NOT to make intro videos, and it said this: "The Sega Saturn game, Panzer Dragoon was a perfect example of an intro animation that was seemingly only self-gratifying for the creators. It lasted what seemed like 10 minutes and basically explained that you were on the back of something, shooting at everything else."

  • they clearly never played the panzer dragoon series. because this opening is one of the most historical significant peices in the panzer dragoon storyline. THE SKY RIDER!

  • The author obviously didn't grasp that Panzer Dragoon, with its opening and ending cinemas, stylish 3D graphics and sweeping music showed us what was to come in the 32/64-bit generation. Unless I'm mistaken it came out before the PSX even launched in the US.

  • It really brings a lot of things....

Thanks for uploading this,it really reminds me all the good gaming times when I was a kid.

  • I used to love that song wish i had it now

  • pm me, ill send ya this song =)

  • the music is on the game cd

  • i remember my brother had this back in the day..level zero hmm..i remembered most of the intro and then there wa sa level where you just shot at those scorpion guys and tehn some big worm guy bosses and then you fought the black dragon and soforth

  • Man, Saturn was ahead of its time.

  • very good memories

  • Anyone ever remember level "zero"

  • The Saturn was amazing. This game really showed off what is was capable of. I mean, these graphics are up to par with some PS2 games.

  • that is really bullshit

  • drunkensailor112 you ps2 fanboy.

  • I'm about the biggest sega saturn fan you can find. but saturns graphics aren't on par with ps2, with psx yes.

  • that brings memories :) great game, and extremely hard.

  • i agree best story in a game and the best game of all time hands down no doubt about and i have played them all no game can match pds heart, sega please give the fans what they want at least a remake with updated graphics but what i want is a true sequal PDS 2

  • I remember being totally amazed by this when the Saturn first came out. It's even more amazing how far cinematics have come since then.

  • well, i'm using a mac and there are no xbox emulators available.

  • unfortunately, i don't have an xbox. was wondering if there was anyway to play it on computer.

  • not to mention the fact that this game is no less then 12!!!! years old!!

  • Sega Saturn deserves more credit.

    Do you see these graphics?

You gotta be stupid not to agree.

  • man i loved this game when i was younger, had it on sega cd. anyone know how i might be able to play this again?

  • sega cd? it came out for the sega saturn.

  • damn saturn <3

    hell with it, sega love

    REALLY

  • people said that the Saturn was "a game that should never have been released". but why?

  • because those people are fucking PS1 fanboys.

  • I don't have a Saturn but my brother in law does and I liked it. I played Megaman X4 and Panzer Dragoon Zwei and I liked them

  • Great intro still remember the first time I saw it. Made me want to get a Saturn so bad. I was comming off a just SEGA CD and Gamegear from Sega the gen before :( what a waste.

In retrospect Im glad I listened to my bro and got a PS1 instead. PS1 turned out to have so many better games overall in the end.

  • man i wish i had a saturn. instead i bought playstation!

  • I remember playing this game and not knowing what the hell to do coz I was 8 xD

  • Such a Great Game. I stil own the Saturn Version.

  • This brings back so many memories. Where it all started. The birth of a legend.

  • I USE TO PLAY THIS GAME WHEN I WAS 13. IM 22.

  • The Saturn got nowhere near the credit it deserved.

  • A classic!

  • ilove this, its a classic

  • Did you mean the Panzer Dragoon Orta bonus?

  • I have this! I unlocked it on the game. it's cool I still haven't unlocked all the movies tho cuz I deleted my old Profile and started a new game.
