thats just too much roller for this situation jeez dynapac 142 would be plenty...a 92-97 compaction score is what we shoot for christ this roller should be on the freeway or airport

why dont ur rollers stop at a 45 degree angle thats insain man....cant get a smooth ride with them stopping strait...i really dont understand all the stopping and augering out mix as well...holler back and just let me know the reasons

i would never say that.

we have cats, roadtek's and balknoxs and little pettaills, and every day of the week i would rather have the balknowxs.

reasons why.

1, better constructed(you are paying an extra $100,000 for a reason

2, longer wheel base, not perfect for every situation, but for main roads it sure is, to get a better ride quality.

and better drive systems, you dont get the same surges that can case havock with rideability

also a better pile height system IMO.

cant always stop like that, specially when trafic is involved, and any experiance roller driver can over come that situation
