@greene2438 The DS1 is less versatile and is more a distortion. The OD1 has less gain, well it's more an overdrive that tends to become quite a fuzz and the gain is the highest.

I'm not in a band and I only play solo or with my kids in the basement but I love this pedal! I've tried a few different ones but my favorite setup is just my Boss tuner and a DaddyO. Thanks for posting, I really enjoyed the video!

finally a overdrive with a bass knob so i can play classic heavy metal with. Boss needs to come out with a pedal that has a built on EQ instead of buying a crap OD and EQ pedal that does half its job cause most the low is cut out.

I own a CrunchBox as well, it's a great distortion pedal!! Honestly, I can't tell you which would be the best with the CB because they are different... The fact is the Crunch Box is good to boost the CB. And the Daddy O can be dirtier than the BM and the CB...

oh, I see.. Anyway, this Daddy O sounds fuckin' awesome, it's a gorgeous middle-way between distortion and overdrive.. and it sounds so warm.. I did not know it..

It's hard to say, they are quite different, Bad Monkey is more like a TS9, medium sound, it's useful but the Daddy O is more versatile because of the 3 bands EQ and it has a lot more gain...

yeah i was just looking for a good medium gain overdrive to go with my crunch box i'm kind of leaning towards the daddy-o right now
