I just got an update from a website through Activision. The next Call Of Duty to be released will be Call Of Duty 7: Black Ops. The game IS NOT based on Vietnam but has to do with pre 21'st century battles. The game is guaranteed to be packed with lots of explosions and a better multiplayer structure involving split-screen, online, and an improved co-op set-up. Activision also says, "We are happy to finally put the WWII series to bed". So be ready for another awesome game on November 9 2010!

I doubt that if its going to be CoD 7 - Vietnam, its not going to be such a sucsess (as MW2), just like CoD 5, hope they add something extra cool in it, like they added Nazi Zombies in WAW.

I dont really have any expectations for CoD 7, as MW2 was the best game i have ever seen and played.

I will definantly buy CoD 7, the only chance they got in my eyes are better graphics than in MW2, and MW2 was in my opinion great.

CoD7 can't be in the Vietnam war, because since IW is trying to sue Activision for the CoD/MW title, the courts said no CoD can be be in the Post Vietnam War Era. So it's going to have to be Korean War. WaW was promised to be the last WW2 CoD game. But there is a chance of them to break that promise.

Yeah CoD 7 will be built off MW2's engine but hopefully there will be a beta. A beta would have solved many of MW2's problems and actually given it a chance at being great IMO.

All I have to say is there better not be a killstreak over 15... 25 was a horrible idea that just makes the skill-less players camp for nukes... It's sad because almost everything else in the game was a wonderful idea (pro perks, callsigns, etc..)

I also think because of today's technology people aren't as interested in old war shooters. They like the new guns, attachments etc... I think if Treyarch made MW1 and 2 and IW made WaW people would think a lot differently about the companies. Just my 2 cents.

I don't dislike modern weapons as much as I just really like older weapons. There's nothing wrong with modern shooters as long as they aren't broken like MW2. And I think the main reason why people don't like WaW is because of all the other great WW2 shooters like CoD 1 and 2- They want something different even if the game itself is good. As far as I'm concerned, I'll play WW2 no matter how many times it's redone and I'll always be at least willing to try each new IW game because of CoD 2 and 4.
