I'm sorry, there was something wrong in my post. safe zone is from 0 - 118px:

1024px - 24 px pixel (left scrollbar) = 1000px

1000px - 763px (twitter content) = 237px

237px : 2 = 118,5px

Safe Zone: 118px

200px is too much. On a netbook with a resolution of 1024, you will get problems with 200 px. The left side safe zone is 0 - 150px.
