i downhill mountainboard.... how are you able to turn so fluidly? its almost like your carving on a longboards, but mine wont move that way. i figured your setup is just different. do i need to loosen my trucks? i find the only way im able to turn is by hoping. my longboard, surfing, and snowboarding experience are failing me in this area.

HOly poop!!! this makes me want to ditch longboarding and go mt boarding full force. looks fun as hell. What's a good all around mbs deck for a newb? Should I get freestyle or one of the lighter big air or kiting decks? Or do they feel similar with little difference unless going at high speeds? Too many ugly roads where I live so longboarding gets boring half the time due to badly cracked and unpaved roads with lots of hills and no sidewalks. This just looks up to par for my town's roads.
