I found by accident that if you take cake with no icing on it, allow it to ferment in the Sun in a closed bucket, when you toss bits of it in the waster , it attracts carp and catfish too.
Very cool video. Great work focusing on the fish, and recording their feeding by sight behavior. As you can see in the video response I posted, once they become more 'excited', their feeding behavior actually changes, and they stop feeding by sight, instead they start vacuuming the bottom in a fairly blind manner. Fascinating!

you scare the hell out of them, the eat and swim fast away.
This could be why un-hooked carp taked your boilie/bait and swims fast away.
