Got a SX Les Paul NGG1 XMAS 2009 and thought I would need to buy another guitar after spending only $150.00. Wrong!! I can play anything and everything the Gibs and Epiphones can and no one, and I mean no one can tell the difference. Very solid and heavy and if I wanted I could upgrade the circuitry/etc. but it really isn't necessary. I suggest the NGG1 for heavy riffs i.e. Tool, Electric Wizard, High on Fire. Also not bad for imitating Page, West and Townshend.
i had an sx mohagany strat with p90 seriously a great instrument i would just pick it up play when ever it was near and now i cant find that same guitar anywhere i shouldve never let it go
I have 3 SX guitars and now I'm on the hunt for a GG1 JR TWR, GG1 TVY or NGG1 JR 2TS. I still can't believe you can buy guitars this good for a little over 100 bucks a piece. Thanks to Chinese slave labor. ;-)
I had a SX les paul...beautiful woods and finishings but very bad pick ups...I changed with 2 Dan Armstrong but never had a great improvement, then the neck was so fat. Result...Johnson Solara, same price of the SX but is quite a Les Paul!
I received my SX Custom GG6 this morning and am very glad. It begins like a blues:o). I had choosen that guitar to customize it with better hardware and electronic. I tried it unplugged and I'm sure it's gonna be a top guitar, certainly much better than an Epiphone Sheraton for half the price !
Smart parents. You'll love it more when you spend your own cash on it. I always thought that saying was a cop out till I found it to be true. Rock on man!!!
its kinda hard coz i already got the sx and also they cost $220 us so in aus(where i live)you pretty much half it and then add it on so its 330 and to get it over here is like $160 us so add on another 240 and it ends up like 570 and i would still need to get a case lead,amp and all that crap so it would probably end up about the same price of an epiphone anyway

They had to change the shape of the Lp body and headstock so those punks at Gibson wouldn't cry.

It is Gibson's design. I like Agile's design better anyway. IMO.
