I heard about this remake of my fav groups songs so I had to seek it out and I absolutely hate it. Sorry everyone, just my opinion. Depeche Mode does it way, way, way, way better. I like this group and their own songs but I hope they never do another DM song EVER!!

thing is...this is a cover. it's okay to do a cover especially for rammstein, which has excellent releases of their own. this one sucks though, 'cos depeche mode had put it in a certain way that rammstein could never ever possibly reach on to.(what sucks most is the twisting of the meaning of this love song towards rammstein interpretation: He doesn't even sing [...]down to the bone. its all about provo with rammstein. So is the vid.

i totally agree with you, only that i do like this version. This "twisting of the meaning" is the brilliant part of rammstein's version. Only covering songs one by one is not a real artist's work. Showing other ways of interpretation is a real tribute for the makers of the original.

This song is very clever in the way that they have naked people on the video, but that's not what it means. the meaning is that people behave according to today's influences of tv, news, newspapers, magazines, commercials, etc... hence "Let me see you make decisions, without your television, let me hear you speaking just for me" people don't realise the impact tv has on their lives.

DM's version is something nobody will ever reach, i think Rammstein did pretty good , Riefensthahl's work is great ..but..you can't take away the best part 'stripped..down to the bone', Rammsteinn are not Depeche Mode and Till's voice/accent is kinda embarassing, don't get me wrong i love both versions but this one lost the basic creepy and lovely meaning the original one had.

Leni Riefenstahl was the most important and innovative filmmaker of the last century, her '36 Olympia cowerage was second to none at its time and is still inspiring all filmmakers and designers. Morons who still continue to mix up politics and arts don't have a clue. This flick is awesome!
