:-D nice Aye, a wick of some sort would probably be the way to if you can find one that won't burn up from exposure to the flamethrower flame. Plastic is certainly something to be avoided but it seems anything else would be much more difficult. My experience with molotov cocktails is that if there's something absorbent in the flamable fluid, those bits will burn longer. Like sticking old cut up clothes in bottles with gas is nice. Perhaps disolving sugar of flower in gas or alcohol...

The flames won't go back into the chamber. It works the same way as Bunsen burners and gas stoves and how many houses have blown up? The only danger I see is the possibility of the plastic catching on fire then igniting the gas but there would be more than enough time to put out the fire before that happened.

the point of the pipe is to keep the whick or stick or in advanced builds, lighter from getting as easily blown out by the wind. the pipe also acts as a buffer of sorts against your gun catching fire.

i wouldnt use a torch as an igniting element since it uses a pressurized container. get a metal pipe that can fit on the end of your gun(6-8in). then saw a small notch going horizontally along the pipe(cut in same direction pipe is pointing when its upright) about an inch in length. u can then attach the pipe to the gun and use this little notch to hold a whick, lit end pointing inward, into the pipe to ignite the fuel.

No, it wouldn't. You shouldn't use wither though, they are solvents. They will eat through plastic, unless treated to handle it like gas cans. You should use things like denatured alcohol, so you don't ruin your water gun.

LMFAO, just a FYI soap/shampoo mixed with a fuel is kinda like napalm the only thing your missing is powdered aluminum. Try 3 parts diesel fuel or

kerosene to 1 parts of gas. This will make a well burning flame and not as explosive or hard to put out if shit goes bad.
