  • Thanks Sean... Bought some of this stuff last night and went on You Tube to see some reviews... I'm gonna give it a shot!

  • @VLanderking cool. The only thing I see now, a year later is, the lenses are yellowed again. Tho it does say on packaging (This and others I believe) a yearly redo may be nessasary. Let me know what you think of it

  • the 3M headlight restorer works well also, same price $20.00 USD Pledge or something similar is safe for plastic to repel grime. im sure other wax like a straight carnuba wax us safe. Pledge is basically a light liquid version

  • you can use toothpaste on glass only not plastic it will clear up the headlight

  • try mona vie sean its a health drink check it out on you tube

  • cool vid, Sean

  • I had to do it to my '97 Opel last year when I've bought it. A friend of mine showed me how to. I couldn't find this kit anywhere here in Romania, si I had to rub them with 2000 sandpaper, then with two types of plastic polish wax. First 74 then 75. A polishing machine comes in very handy here. I didn't have one so I rubbed the heck out of them and myself. The result was a complete success.

  • Another thing you could have done was take a buffer and rubbin compound then a quick wax. Same concept though. Brought the clear lens right out on a Freightshaker Columbia. You prolly know how they can suck. Atleast it worked like they said for ya

  • well for a sealer i would use Paint sealant its the best stuff thats what i use on my car

  • That stuff works good man i used it on my truck, now i just rub some wax on em and they stay nice great video sean 5*

  • That works pretty good, I might have to look for some of that.

  • Was that light a plastic one or glass one? Because it did a damn good job!

  • Plastic. Don't think you could do glass

  • hey sean if i got a second thing of that stuff wuld it work on the tail lights?& wouldnt it hav been easier to just put some duct tape around the light?& i got confused on the second pouch if you use the whole thing of cv 2 on one headlight wat about the other? and you used it twice so did you put half on one cloth and the other half on the other ... but then what about the other head light...my brain hurts...lol and yes im only askin 5 1/2 months after the video was made lol well thanks sean!!!

  • As long as they are plastic, for sure. Duct tape I'm sure would work, but a few bolts to remove them guaranty the paint wont get marred, scratched, or peel. I'd have to watch the video to remember how it was done, but the kit has the full instructions, and enough pouches for everything

  • great vid..got to do mine now..

  • great video Sean, it is always better to know someone that has tried it than a tv ad, as on an ad, then they could have done it, thrown the light, and gone and bought a new one!

  • SHhhhhh! don't give away my secret. lol. Yeah, I was skeptical at first, but it worked out. Now I've used it twice

  • does it work on big trucks

  • As long as it's not the sealed beam lights like on the classics, 379, 9900i, W900

  • kool nice job sean

  • Nice headlight restoration!

Looks like you found something that works well for the money. I can not imagine what Ford would charge for a new pair.

It looks like a two beer job.

    Thanks for posting this vid,

    John

  • Looked like you were on Miller Time. haha

  • Yes sir! I was able to stretch one MGD!

  • thanks really enjoyed the video and i will defently try it out on my car and tell all my friends aswell and about your channel too.

  • i need to do that on the fam van. Thanks Sean.

  • Cool man, good tip...I think my F150 headlights are doing the same thing

  • looks good.

  • sean when u gonna get behind the wheel again?

  • I have a few family members that should use that stuff.I would also like to tell a few people on the road to use it lol.Nice and informative video good stuff.

  • hey thanks Sean for the vid. I work at Walmart as a sales assoc. in automotive and never had any feedback or used it myself. now I can recommend it better.

  • Heck yeah man, and make sure to point them to my videos lol... Hey, free publicity you know...

  • What was the name of the kit?

  • Could I find this at a kragan auto parts? I got no walmart round here. If not where else may I find it without going online shopping?

  • They may have it. Here in Indiana I cna find it at Advanced Auto, or Auto Zone

  • hey men i need a CB do you know a good brand

  • Cobra 29LTD is a good radio, usually around the $100 mark

  • hey you know if i could used that for my semi trucks.

  • As long as its the plastic shell, and not a sealed beam light, yep

  • That's awesome Sean, i'm gunna have a look for that stuff down here..thanks mate..

  • Sean, First Let Me Say You Did Not Scream, Like Billy Mays,RIP, Thank You, You Walked Us Step By Step, I Am Truly Impressed, I Need To Do This To My Headlight Too,So I Thank You Personally On A Great Job Done There Buddy,Thanks Again=========Hollywood

  • my headlights are glass. :)

but my tail lights are plastic.

  • See if you can do that you can rebuild an engine...lol... Id have to get a air sander to get all the stuff off the van lights....lol

  • hi sean wonna see my chammel did you see my channel yet

  • Great Demo Mate. I have had the same problem, I wish I had the time to do it myself. What is the cost difference from buying a new headlight? Iam busy running a business, maybe I can get one of my Employee's to do it but than again that would cost. let me know what you think.

  • $20 for the kit. Or anywhere from $90-$150 PER headlight new, or $20-$50 PER headlight (used) on ebay. If you have a free day, or a nephew... I'd go for the kit

  • it is kinda exspensive thought, i meant its not outragous, but $20 for 2 headlights you start doin headlights of a couple vehicles, it can get pretty pricy. but then again its not something you put on all the time just every now and again to maker look nice again

  • Yeah, usually you only do it once per vehicle. After that, it's up to you if you WANT to reseal it from time to time. And the value of this prod at $20, compared to the repair bill after a deer hitting you because your lights weren't bright enough... it's well worth it

  • Nice to know that something that isn't too expensive actually works. Thanks for showing us how it's done.

  • im gonna have to pick me up a kit to fix the headlights on the dodge... all oxidated. and Yeah baby 1st comment. might even be able to use it on my International too
