brownsville is not a racist town. The majority is obviously hispanic.. that doesn't make it racist. The only people who badmouth brownsville are usually ignorant hillbillies from places like Kentucky, North Texas, Alabama, and any southern or midwestern state. Because those people don't like that fact that a city in the united states with a majority hispanic population exists. Brownsville is very beautiful and has a very relaxed atmosphere. Its the biggest city south of San Antonio.

The place to be in the valley is mcallen area. number 2 would be brownsville, both communities have access to higher education and are exploding population wise and economically. I remember me going up and down brownsville resaca by boca chica in a canoe, fishing for huge bass and catfish. The best scenery is at sunrise in a canoe at Brownsville. Priceless!
