If you think that is cool you should hear about what my friend and I are making. We are making a multistage coilgun that uses 450 Volt capacitors and in total will have 28800uf, approximately 3 kilojoules of energy.

copper does not have any superconducting properties at cryogenic temperatures. This is because it does not hold the 'cooper pair' like other superconduction materials.
