I never realized that Helena actually killed Alexis' mother herself. I always heard it as "She had her throat slit." implying that she paid somebody to do it. Not that it was right by any means but this makes her even more evil than I thought.
Thank you for posting, I start to watch GH just after Christina died. But, never seen this scene Oh My God poor Alexis and then she lost her sister again. Now, I understand why the death of her sister was so hard on her.

Kristina was killed by Luis Alcazar. He set a bomb up that was meant to kill Sonny but she died in the process. Alexis in turn killed Luis by pushing him off a balancy for killing her sister. But, Natasha was Alexis' real name. It was changed to Alexis and she was told she was a Cassadine cousin, b/c she never remembered what happened the nite her mother was killed. She had no memories so they renamed her Alexis and said she was a cousin.
Yes. She (Alexis) is Mikkos' illegitimate child with Kristen Bergman (the woman killed in the video). Kristina (the redhead) is the second daughter of Mikkos and Kristen's, making Alexis and Kristina sisters.

I really loved that character and wanted to see much more interaction between her and Alexis. Damn writers.
On a side note it's weird to think of her as Sam's aunt... there's not a lot of age difference
