I'm a vegetarian and I absolutely love animals, but I see nothing wrong with feeding a carnivorous animal feeder animals that were specifically bred to be food. It's the same thing as feeding a mouse to a pet snake or insects to a pet lizard.

Alligators are obligate carnivores--that is, they have to eat meat or they will die because they did not get the nutrients that they need to survive. Even if the gators were fed dead fish, how do you think the fish ended up dead?

In actuality a lion kill wouldn't be that painful considering the way they kill their prey, being eaten by a frog would be painful as fuck though.

I met a guy at a reptile show that told me he released his in a local pond in the middle of Iowa.... I asked him if there were armless children running around in that neighborhood now...

kinda there is something called an alligator lizard. looks like a gator stays about 1-20 inches long. just not actually a gator so that part kinda sucks. but it's close. dwarf camains are the smallest ranging between 5-7 ft. usually around the 5ft length though
