Walk in your map? You mean as an interactive environment? You need a game engine for that, like the UDK game engine or the Unity game engine. After you've created your 3D model in a 3D software like Maya or 3D Studio max, import it into the game engine. You'll be able to walk around in it like as if it was a game.

Excellent work to Robert, but just incase he is unable to get back to you about the glass query, do you use an external renderer such as vray or brazil in place of 3ds max's mental ray? If so it can set me up to answer the rest of the question for you.

no walls,windows and doors are made in autocad architecure. Most of forniture are evermotion library.
