I've used both the mini and Elite. The mini is nice because, you can set it and forget it.
QUESTION:
Once you turn the Elite on, does the blue ligt blink right away or do you have to wait for it to warm up first.

In my opinion, it's not loud at all. When it's heating up it makes a noise that sounds maybe a tad louder than water rapidly boiling but I don't have to raise my voice to be heard. When it's actually brewing, it's about as loud as a steady trickle of water in the sink, again not too late to talk comfortably around. The sound doesn't bother me at all and I use it many times a day.

hey. how loud actually is this? like in a normal talking voice is it louder or quieter then that?
