I absolutely adore how people say that this is what they usually sound like. Honestly, if you want to say that this is what they're really "about", would you atleast say someting a bit older? Like Love Songs, Deep Shadows, or Razorblade Romance? Not Love Metal, because Love Metal doesn't sound all that different from Dark Light, which was a great album by the way. And they have yet to make an album that I absolutely love.

You sound like bunch of old, ever heard of accepting change? Light Dark is HIM evolving their sound, funny how all the 'original' fans hate it when this happens, I've encounter this many times with many of my liked bands.

Listen to the CD 5 times start to end and give it a real chance, also realise they cannot continue to make music that sounds the same with all albums for reasons I'll let you figure out for yourselves.

guys every HIM song is incredible and lyrics are beautiful. I'm really not happy you said Dark Light was the worst studio album. Vampire heart, wings of a butterfly, under the rose, killing loneliness, dark light, behind the crimson door, the face of god, drunk on shadows, play dead and in the nightside of eden all are beautiful songs. This is a great song and Dark Light is by far one of the best HIM albums the worst is Greatest Love songs vol. 666! Its very bassy even if you turn the bass off of your cd player or what not

I tend to disagree with you there. Dark Light starts off with 4 brilliant songs. The song DL itself is the worst on the album. The rest of the songs, esp. the Face of God - which is just as brilliant as the first 4 tracks are good. Overall, its a solid album, not as good as R.R. and Love Metal, but certainly a lot better than Deep Shadows - which was not bad.

i know...what was wrong with Dark Light? I really like it. it's not my favorite album ("R.R" & Love Metal i favor) but i really like DL! I think what it is, is you have to really sit down and READ the lyrics to the songs. It's one thing about Ville i really respect is that his poetry is so real. he has such a way with words. you just need to sit down and take time to read them. as with any HIM album i think. anyway, this video rocks! thank you for posting it :)
