  • The major third in the euphs at the press is what makes this for me. It supports the fifth in the mellos unbelievably well. Great arranging was done to this.

  • shivers down my spine every time.

  • 1:40 yes he most definitely is bad as!

  • @enigmasleeps and that swaying is their visuals in their actual on field performance which gives them their visual general effect score which helps them get ahead of the other corps. So it isn't pointless moving around really.

  • Chillbumps... That is all.

  • @enigmasleeps This guy obviously hasn't marched drum corps...

  • So freaking amazing. (: I love the way that guy is instructing them.

  • @enigmasleeps If you have marched in 2 different corps, then why are you questioning the swaying? It's a common thing in drum corps shows... And I'm pretty sure a lot of drum corps instructors are like that. Hell, even my high school director yells like that

  • @enigmasleeps You've obviously never marched drum corps...

  • @enigmasleeps I don't think you quite understand the emotion behind all this....

  • I'm amazed this is a middle of the pack horn line. They sound amazing. Every year the competition gets tougher.

  • @enigmasleeps Its drum corp. Especially a top world class corp. Upon audition for every corp. Its expected not to settle for anything less than perfection

  • @RockstarDaniel you spelled "corps" wrong three times, its ALWAYS plural.

  • @RDEpelheism oh well

  • Please don't feed the corps, the cage is there for a reason.

  • @ForeverandayOne

I haven't laughed like that in a hot minute...thank you for that one !

  • Saw them in Austin a month ago, and can't wait to see them again in a few days in DCI San Antonio. So beautiful.

  • diiiiiiiiid the guys watching say yes?

  • Pssh....verbal abuse? Granted he could have said another word that that one, but I bet they won't ever bag out without that speech running through their head...at least I wouldn't. They are big boys and girls...

  • @bandgeek601 You have said this in almost every Bloo video this year. The fact that you have marched ONE year and speak as though you know the organization. This speaks nothing to your credibility and the fact that you stated an established fact is annoying. If this is who I think it is, please never go back there.

  • The reaction after that first cutoff is the same exact one i had. God DAMN that was well balanced.

  • @enigmasleeps Anyone who knows me knows I'm not a yelling guy, but I'm behind George and how he teaches 100%. Bear in mind this is a show warm-up so a) you can't just speak in your normal voice or half the hornline can't hear you and b) imparting enthusiasm and energy to the performers along with information in a positive way is generally reciprocated in their performance. I agree with your points and concerns, George is just not one of the guys you're worried about.

  • @enigmasleeps It was yelling of happiness. Expressing his emotions. He was proud of it, and was just letting them know to never settle for less than what they just played.

  • This show was amazing to watch live!

  • @enigmasleeps That man is awesome. I love him.

  • @enigmasleeps It's not verbal abuse at all, actually. You've clearly never had the pleasure of working or being taught by George so im not even going to waste my time trying to make you understand. Good day.

  • @enigmasleeps

George is passionate in what he teaches

  • I love how when he says ass h*** at 1:20 he immediately pauses like, "whoops, forgot people were behind me" lol

  • i cracked my head like six times

  • @BassMan710 *neck

  • God, I love this corps.

  • Man, I miss George screaming haha This is amazing Bluecoats!!

    -A very happy alumnus

  • George is awesome. He LOVES the horn line, that's what I hear here. That was awesome...YES! Play it like that all the time...don't confuse passion with intimidation.

  • @enigmasleeps That's George. Let's get one thing straight, George is Awesome. He's always been like that, that's the way he teaches and i promise you that every one of those kids in the hornline LOVES that man and they LOVE having him around because of how kick ass and hard ass he is because they know and understand that he's not talking down to them, but he's expressing his love for that hornline and the organization and he will not accept anything but the absolute best of his hornline.

  • @MichaelJacksonDude88 Yep. That's George alright. Marched '09

  • @ibanezlover10 yeah thats what i said...sometimes you need a good ass kick and a reality check on the side.

  • @enigmasleeps

    I find it highly motivating.

  • I second that, Sync! Bluecoats was by far my favorite show of the evening. I didn't get to see Glassmen :(. I have a couple more videos of Coats warmups I'd like to put up, but I'm a bit pressed for time. Spirit brass was amazing as well! While my group was standing/sitting in the middle of their warmup arc, they blew us away with "Georgia On My Mind". Beautiful. I didn't get to take any videos of drumlines that evening. I was probably too busy gawking at all the basslines. All apologies

  • They were amazing at this show. I love how bluecoats are always clean in the early season.

  • I like how he kicks their ass. Good teaching tecnique. Sure as hell works on me

  • Anyone wants to know why the Bluecoats are special? This is it. EPIC.
