How would I act if I were on the show...I would act like Joe Lauzon did. I would act like a grown man and go about my business. Win, lose or draw at least I would walk away from the show knowing that I displayed the type of person that most fans want to see in the octagon. I just feel Nate needs to grow up, and act more like some of the stand up guys we have in MMA right now.
Yeah, he does tend to come off as an asshole, but what most people don't understand is that his attitude is derived from his armenian heritage. The history of that country gives most Armenian's this attitude.
I think Karo was in the wrong for that. Any body that says "Do they know who I am?" has problems. I more than respect him as a fighter and I love watching him fight, but he was trying to bully the 155 pounders and Nate wasnt having that. Nate has a short fuse. You saw him joking with Karo at first. He tried to keep his cool, but in the end Karo showed no respect and people are so quick to attack a Diaz.
Karo could of avoided the whole thing by letting it go. So most of the blame should fall on Karo, but Nate did nothing to help the situation, telling him to "Get the fuck out of here". Karo was kind of a dick saying "do you know who I am", I agree with you on that.
i agree with rockstar...manny will be a true animal once he learn the "pound" aspect of ground & pound. Until then he is just a wrestler, whice makes for a boring MMA fight.
Manny should work with someone like Tito Ortiz to learn a strong Ground-n-Pound, being that he is really good at keeping fighters down, he could be the future of the LW division.
I gotta go ahaid and disagree about the manny fight. I thought it was plenty exciting. The full card is up now, and they decided to show thales lites over the tuf kids, which is interesting.
Laying on Joe, not posturing up to reign down punches and elbows, just laying chest to chest and throwing non-effective punches for three rounds....Not my idea of exciting, but differences of opinions are what makes for good debate. later bro
I agree that Nate Diaz flies the tough guy flag a little to much, but in RD 2 he definitely showed how tough he actually was. Coming back from the RD 1 that he had was no easy task, and the other fighters in the house probably couldnt of done that.
I don't doubt Nate's toughness or talent, since day one I have thought he was one of the most skilled and dangerous fighters on the show. His heart was tested in the fight with Gray and he passed with flying colors. He is still a punk though. Later man
I think Nate will beat Manny, I think this has been one of the best seasons of The Ultimate Fighter. I think BJ will beat Jens, Jens tends to talk like he just beat him last year, but it was years ago that they fought. That is kind of shady. Can't wait to see your prediction video. Later Rockstar
My friend Mark has told me that the card has been finalized so I do that video today. Yeah, that fight took place back in 2002, BJ is a totally different fighter now, than he was back then. I look for BJ to work his well rounded game and dominate both the stand up and the ground game.
