The thing about the Emerald Dream areas I have noticed something it most likely was thought of pre TBC. Why you ask? In azeroth Mountains are thickerand more flat at the top then mountains in outland and northend. Why does this matter? Azeroth wasnt made with flight in mind at first Bliz has commented how they would like to change this but cant. my final reason is that the areas that seperate the zones in azeroth are huge flat zones if u do that for a flyingzone youll have a lot of empty places

I believe Snobaste is doing this because it is a type of art.

Note that these models he re-used look wonderful but they are still made by Blizzard.

Making an own textured and modelled world is alot harder than just replacing 3d models and textures. If Blizzard changed the Hillsbrad to this, you would think that its lame after 2 weeks of leveling there.

This is great art and requires some artistic skills which snobaste sure has. This is a fine show-off whit nice music and editing.

I used old Hillsbrad in about 5 shots due to the fact that it had places like Tirigarde Keep fully restored. The rest of it was just normal Hillsbrad with the trees/bushes/grass/etc. model changed to Emerald Dream doodads.

The real Emerald Dream doesnt have buildings or anything. This is a mix of Emerald Dream and Old Hillsbrad Foothills. BEAUTIFUL job nonetheless.

FilmQueen: The Emerald Dream is an instance that has been in the WoW data for some time. Many thought it was going to be in BC but it still sits in it's undeveloped way... there is currently one way to get there, and that's instance swapping. What I did to get there the first time was to switch the Scholomance files to the Emerald Dream files, and just walked into Scholo :D

Gaatomi: I did it with model changing (I swapped the tree models with the flowers, fence models with crystals, etc.)
