She's very good and I really can't undersatnd how someone might say she's bad. I saw her many years ago on her debut at Lisboa, around 1990, in Guilherme tell with Chris Merrit and she was already very good. Latter I saw her in Aida but unfortunately in very a very dificult time because there was a strike. Anyway she was the best of the cast by far.

birgithnilson,el sonido es bueno porque la voz es buena,pero el legato,el fraseo y la intencion......nada mas lejo del belcanto . Por cierto hay solo una escala cromatica descendente. (y menos mal!!!)
Excelente Ana María, creo que su esfuerzo es extraordinario. Otra cosa es que no la acompañe un corifeo mediático que haga ruido, como algunas modelos de pasarela que se llaman " sopranos " a sí mismas y que últimamente están muy de moda ...
i think it's a lovely voice, but I think the role is too heavy for what I hear as essentially a lyric voice. I always associate Norma with a voice that can float Casta Diva but then be heroic for the cabaletta. That's why I love Caballe and Sutherland in this role. They can sing this so beautifully and then let 'er rip for the rest.

I also agree that she is good. I had the chance to hear her and have to say that sounds much better in the theater. A BIG voice and beautiful sound. Would´ve love to hear some pianos but I was satisfied. And Zajick was fantastic as always.
Really Dolora has eaten the soprano like raw meat. Ana is not easily heard, and this is Norma, with a small orchestra of Bellini; she is not a belcantista. The cabaletta was definitely deficient Sorry,yhe voice is nice..
i like the sound of her voice,but i can't understand a word. the color is beautiful,good breathing,the legato sometimes is not good at the very end.
