IMO this is the best soundtrack of AoS. Excellent melody, and 100% reflective of the scenery. This is the reason why Castlevania music is one of my favourite video game musics even if listening them for too long will keep me from falling asleep at night. (due to how evil and hellish they tend to sound, and this one is no exception) The entire tone of this soundtrack make me feel as if I fell into a deep pit surrounded with dead people and there's no way out.
I always found the Castlevania music soothing. Not like horror-movie music or really scary music. I think the Castlevania soundtracks sound more melancholic and depressing, yes very dark but not "scary".
If I feel tired or mentally/socially exhausted, I listen to Castlevania music. It has similar effect as for example Mozart's Requiem, it sounds gloomy and apocalyptic but in a very nice way.
Too me it's much more relaxing than bossa nova on a sunny beach.
This is an *excellent* song. The bulk of the song is intriguing: Michiru utilizes the upper register to hold a 'harmonic melody' while the lower tones play the complex runs. That's fascinating to me. Anyhow, like I said, this song is excellent.
Church organ ftw.

I could do it.... I think it would be cool sounding ... but I don't have a band ... just a guitar.
