I have become increasingly disturbed by the antics of these scientologist people. Aside from the embarassing Tom Cruise situation, I didnt know very much about them until I came across a story about an Irish man (Odhran Fortune) who is in the same situation as you,Tony. Thanks for sharing your story with us. I hope you manage to bring your family back together again. From what I know, My theory is they put fear into their own members, they have them all sign waivers first before they take any course. The waiver states things like "I recognize that Scientology's a religion... blah" and all sorts of other stuff. The Co$ knows how to cover their ass they also make their member write essays after they complete their course saying how great it was, then they can use that against them too once they leave. The Co$ has many way of leveraging their members.
