How to mix and master Vocals with Adobe Audition

Once he got to the part where he showed "how" to remove "noise" he lost all creditability. For the utterly clueless if noise exists within the frequence range of the vocals or music you are ALSO effectively removing whatever part of noise falls in that range thus totally screwing things up because you also removing part of the frequiences you want to keep.

Mastering is all the vocals and beat tracked into a 2 track and then the 2 track is mastered. And not with your method. Your method squashed all the dynamics in your vocal. Please don't give out advice about what you don't know.... It confuses the people.

@CastleRecordz When you record in mono it's easier because stereo recording requires two mics! When you record in mono you can just copy/paste the vocals, line them up and pan one all the way to the left and the other to the right. It kind of amplifies the vocals and what not. then master in Stereo! :D

You got a mono mic, so change the setups to "Left only".

For the optimum results from Adobe, I would reboot your computer, then run Adobe. This gets rid of "memory leaks" from running programs...thus you get best results (doesn't crash as much.) try high hiss reduction on vocals than NR..doesn't corrupt like NR does. Try hard limiting on the vocal track, no DP...

most vocals are double tracked. do by "copy to new", not copy, the vocal track, paste to sess, apply vocal flange to copy, keep vol lower on second track (beatles did this.)
