  • J'adore...

  • SEXY!!!

    Sly

  • hheh why is the bassists strings flipped the wrong way leftie maybe??

  • @BitOveRate They've got Doyle Bramhall II playing bass, he plays guitar the same exact way

  • @callycat23 Ah okay, thought i might be seeing things or maybe they made the video to look like that, definitely seems pretty interesting though because most guitarists will just string differently.

  • @BitOveRate Ya, his father is the famous drummer Doyle Bramhall, and he grew up in a house with the Vaughan brothers, all kinds of right handed guitars but it felt right to play them upside down and he just got so used to it. Great player certainly.

  • GOD I LOVE THEM

  • Good music!!

  • I can see why SRV look up to his big brother so much..

  • oh my god that's doyle on bass!

  • To the 3 butt buddies who disliked this maybe you all need a class on what good music is.

  • @jgarciajr55 damn thats creative

  • Charlie Sexton on drums...............?

  • Those "looks" around :43 kill me.

  • LOVE this Jimmie Rocks , thank you for sharing !!!

  • lol having SRV with you and only letting him sing some lame line - retarded

  • I just saw this video for the first time and it got me good.

  • is that corteney cox?? cool song!!!!!!

  • Whatever. You're just another disgusting human being. I do not enjoy sleaze and those that do are sleazy. There is nothing good-natured about it. I'm proud to be me and would rather be me than you any day.

  • stevie ideas for music videos were kinda inspired by his brother, they have amazing funny weird videos for awesome songs. It was a family thing

  • i want to go for a pony ride too

  • Comment removed

  • man i wanna learn this song so bad without having to buy a book or something...

  • now i know why stevie ray is inspired by his brother to pick up the guitar!!

  • stevie ray vaughan is better

  • I've always loved Stevie, but for some reason never got into Jimmie. Now Im starting to love Jimmie.

  • Jimmie is fucking cooler than the Fonz...

  • i bet it was hard for jimmie to make these videos

  • @aypee16 in wut way? cause his bro was gone?

  • @aypee16 why?

  • @Poolboy0Paul Stevie died just before they made the videos

  • @PeterBcRich thanks. I did not know this

  • An absolutely fabulous classic piece from the not too distant past. I'm not really big on the video itself, but the (too often interrupted) footage of Jimmie & co. working their magic on the strings and skins is truly a wonderful thing to behold.

  • hehe im from texas.

  • ooh nice!

    love this.

  • hi..this movie is soo fantastic and good for my little cute brother..not for my ugly icky big old hamster shoot brother..tnx!

  • Jimi restrung his guitar its common knowledge. Doyle Jr is a monster too.

  • Doyles daddy Doyle Sr is a great guy as well as a killer blues in the pocket drummer. met him once in a club. He advised me on a Texas shuffle. I was happy since he wrote Cold Shot and Change It. I guess he knew a few things. I was proud and honored

  • Thats Charlie Sexton on drums and Doyle Bramhall II on Bass.

These 2 boys know their stuff !

  • Is that Charlie Sexton on drums?

  • I LOVE STEVİE AND JİMMİE

  • where is srv

  • he had passed on by the time they got to this

  • Whew! I have always LOVED this video & I hadn't seen it in a LONG time.

The chick is HOT and she DOES look like Janna. I was living in Chicago back then, Stevie died just north of me @ Alpine Valley. My sis called me from NY FREAKED because the initial reports said Eric Clapton died in the chopper...well, as it turned out, either way, it was a very, very sad day...

Dude is playing a P-bass upside down & NOT re-strung - cool - ala Jimi!

Thanx for the vid & the memories!!! *****(5)*****

  • BeenBad4U,

I hope you mean ala Jimmi as in Haslip, from the Yellowjackets...., not Hendrix.

  • NOPE! The ONLY "Jimi" - (born Johnny Allen) a/k/a James Marshall 'Jimi' Hendrix! Jimi played RH guitars upside-down & re-strung (even basses) because so few LH models were around back then...

  • BeenBad4U,

Then check the Yellow jackets, Haslip is a lefty that plays RH side bass "as is".

  • Cool! Will do!

  • Where's the talented Vaughn brother?

  • he's on bass guitar i think

  • I NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO

want to chat with singles qY

  • funny video lets chat

    someone want to chat CO

  • This was a spooky video. I remember seeing it for the first time while on vacation. I then learned later , that Stevie had already been dead a few months when this came out on TV......

  • This is GREAT!! Don't attempt this without proper supervision!

  • Jimmy's all feel! Fucking great phrasing!

  • In almost 20 years since this album came out, this is the first time I've seen this video for this song. Great Post! Bramhall on the bass..cool.

  • Absolutely incredible! Doyle on bass and Sexton on drums! I loved this post! Thanks for share this!!!

  • amazing just started listening to Jimmie. What a great guitar player

  • I always thought it sounded like Stevie playing the licks on the sound recording. I know he recorded on the album with his brother, right?

  • He sure did, I bought it when it came out many many years ago and consider it a classic now. Stevie and Jimmy sound alike at times, but after all, they grew up playing guitar together, what else would you expect. Jimmy actually taught Stevie quite a bit as he was the older brother and first one of the two playing guitar. In the end, their styles differed somewhat, more or less, but those shared licks and things never go away.

  • I was just a little disappointed that I wasn't seeing Stevie in the music video because I was sure that he was part of the music.

  • I'm pretty sure the video was recorded after Stevie died. If I remember right, the Family Style album was released just a few weeks after his death. RIP Stevie, you were the greatest!

  • Even Doyle's bass guitar it strung upside down.

  • Bloody cool, isn't it? I thought there was something strange about that guitar & only when i focused the second time did i notice the guy was playing it upside down!! Did he learn it that way as he's left handed & kept it so or what?

  • Dude!!!! I'm so glad I married a Texan.

  • I love everything the Vaughan brothers did but... this video is just hilarious.

  • This song was great in its time its too bad though I always thought the video didnt do it justice. This was a seductive song and needed more seduction in the video...( Could of been done hotter with better imagination )

Sorry Jimmy I love ya but truths truth

  • Are you kidding??? this video is unforgetable!

  • The song itself was unforgetable As for the video I just think it could of been done very hot when I hear this song it reminds me of a woman stripping and seducing her man. I guess everyone interprets songs differently. This is definitely one of my all time favorite songs!

  • you are rad.

  • is the raddest! lol

  • Sweet!

  • I had forgotten this song. I love it!

  • i love this song !!!!!!!!!!!<3

  • Must have been horrible for Jimmie to have to make this vid on his own, Stevie should be been there, really sad............

  • I want Jimmie's hair. :)

  • I think it's Charlie Sexton on the drums too.

  • Doyle Bramhall

  • no, I know it's Doyle Bramhall who played the drums for the actual song...but that's Charlie Sexton in the video

  • i stand corrected, that is Charlie Sexton.

  • ;-) Don't mess with a girl who has been drooling over ol' Charlie for years!

  • hehe drool away ;)

  • not crazy 'bout the song lyrics or theme. video funny in parts, but a bit sleazy-ish in others.

  • @ladybluluv you don't have to be from Texas to appreciate music and talents..but your opinion makes it blatantly obvious you have never been laid by a GOOD Texan..and btw-ur definition of sleazy leads me to believe you grew up in UTAH or someother place that does not enjoy humor and goodnatured sensuality:)

  • @brucerokohl Im not from Texas nor Chicago but I love Texas blues and what the hell Im not from Mexico but I like burritos, not from italy but like coffee,...lol

  • Ride that pony across this bridge! Great song...thanks 4 adding!

  • Good stuff. This video, (and song), always has me laughing.

  • that jazz bass has a split coil, i havent seen that before

  • I love the lyrics here, lol... I wonder what they're talking about? ;)

  • Is that Charlie Sexton on drums & Doyle Bramhall on BAss?? I assume this was post Stevies death since hes not in it & the record wasnt released yet either.

  • Doyle Bramhall on drums and Preston Hubbard on bass

  • on the c/d

  • Doyle Bramhall II on the bass and Charlie sexton on the drums!

  • Yesss....LOVE them! Evergreen song for me... :)))

  • yes it is..........

  • lol good video!
