Anyone know where I can find "The Chevy Chase Show," a 1977 TV special??? (not the 1993 talk show.) I've searched everything and would really appreciate some help!!
@ryviuz Say what? Carter took office in '77, the embargo was in '73. Carter messed up everything he touched. The only good thing Carter did was give away the Panama Canal, other than that... God awful.
It's not TVTV, but that's very perceptive! It was made by a group called The Image Union, which included many members of TVTV. They covered the 1976 DNC in NYC on Manhattan Cable for five days, three hours a night. Check out "Five Day Bicycle Race" on our website to see about 10 hours of footage from it.
hey cool! yeah, they seem to be using PortaPaks which were still pretty new. i was really into TVTV in grad school, did a research project on them, but never heard of "image union." TVTV did the 72 convention (i think) for a movie called "four more years" which is total genius. i think i've got some TVTV somewhere in my account but it's lost in all the dog videos.
anyway, keep up the great clips. you're one of my fave subs.

the embargo happened all the way until 1980s ,, it is not just in 1973
Arab nations finally break the embargo in 1980s because Reagan sell those dictatorships weapons and military equipments
