Wow, compared to Armada, the RID/Car Robots line is indeed looking great both in design, engineering and playability. I love how the hips articulation remains functioning despite being in Combine mode (unlike most Combiner Transformers that often tend to suffer posability loss after fully combining). Borrowing a quote from Thew; "Bravo Takara.. BRAKARA."

Now all I need is a nendoroid Elsie (The World Only God Knows) chasing RID Optimus around the road...

I used to have this figure and the Ultra Magnus one in a combo pack type thing as a little kid, but I threw all of it away except for the Optimus figure simply because I couldn't figure out how to transform/combine them. I reaaaaaalllllly regret that decision lol

I think you mistransformed the ladder for the super mode? there's a hinge near the rotating base so it gives the super mode more articulation and allows for the "Bazooka Ladder" positioning.

@PrimalFlash202b Yes, it does. You can make him wield it like a huge shoulder cannon, however this makes him a little more unbalanced. Looks impressive though, especially if you've got the missiles and front cannons deployed.

I don't know if I've said this before, but a while back I finally got this version and it was SIGNED BY NEIL KAPLAN! If you don't know who that is, he is the voice actor for Optimus Prime in the American cartoon of Robots in Disguise. It is a fun toy to mess with and I'm glad I finally got him.
