  • Oh Oh Oh yall.Watch MY video called," The Stewy Jacobs effect, what happens when you stop tithing."LOL...You gotta see it.

  • Wheres that book LOLOLOLOLOLOL :)

  • lol good clean comedy

  • Sunday worship, christmas, easter, valentines, halloween and almost every other nationally recognized "holiday" is pagan in origin. STOP letting people(2 John 2) tell you what the bible says. Get yourself a 1611 KJV with Apocrypha and read it for yourself. Malachi is talking about the PRIEST robbing the GOD of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob not the people robbing. If your pastor, preacher or priest can't see that than he/she doesn't know the bible. GET OUT OF RELIGION AND GET INTO GODS WORD.......

  • This video is funny and sad at the same time. It is sad because so many people, including myself, have already been fooled and it has cost us dearly. I could've already been 1/3 of the way to being a millionaire at age 37 if it weren't for this devil's doctrine of tithing (and offerings); just from saving and paying off debt from working regular jobs. [My wife and I together.]

  • @kingdavidlives

"if it weren't for this devil's doctrine of tithing"

    Excellent testimony.

    Thanks for speaking out.

  • You don't know how true this is.I stopped tithing and a guy who is a millionaire saw my videos on YouTube and gave me s00,000 many dollars toward my ministry.

  • This is funny as all get out.. But honestly if I knew someone like this I wouldn't want to stand next to them during a lightning storm..=-(

  • "Only 24 payments of 24.95!" Hahaha. Funny. I've heard the opposite message preached before--that if you tithe, you'll get rich.

  • Tithing Tricks? You mean the shell games televangelists and the Catholic Church play?

  • Actually, the Bible commands that once a year the Hebrews use their tithes to have a hell of a party, and to use these holy tithes to buy strong drink! Or whatever they lust for! "Then shalt thou turn it into money... And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice" Deuteronomy 14 22-26 Party on, brother!
  • @Imaginefree69 Whoa! People are not ready for these Scriptures. I was involved in Pentecostalism and they don't believe in drinking alcoholic beverages. This Scripture [and others of course] showed me they were wrong. The Bible says not to be a drunkard (alcoholic); i.e., have moderation.

  • @kingdavidlives

"People are not ready for these Scriptures."

Well, they have to grow up SOME time.

May as well get started now, eh?

It really is remarkable how incongruous Christian denominational doctrine is with the Bible from which they claim to get their reality.

    You are right, of course;

the Bible only teaches moderation, not abstinence.

  • @kingdavidlives That's true, but some people prefer to not drink at all. Having a glass of wine once in a while is nice and all, but scientifically speaking... all the body needs... is water... LOL. The rest is just a thing of the moment. I like my healthy lifestyle. [shrugs] It keeps me in shape for my type of life.

  • its funny how many people actually research

the bible to prove they don't have to tithe. When all they have comes from God and the very act of giving back is worship. Find me in the bible anywhere else where God says," TEST ME ON THIS" except when he's talking about you and I tithing to him.

Read ACTS the church sold all they had and everything was divided up.

your arguments only hurt you here because God can't use the money he gave you to work with and you actually deny God to bless you.

  • @pyrcival

    Malachi 3:10a says...

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be FOOD in my house.

The OT Tithe was food. It was NEVER anything else.

The reason people turn to the Bible for truth is because that's where we find it. And the truth is, the Bible does NOT support the modern Church's teaching on the Tithe.

Acts 2:45 and Acts 4:32 say that they did not claim any of their possessions as their own, but shared everything they had.

That's what the Bible teaches us to do.

  • Why do churches tell us to obey only one commandment from the Old Testament? They do not tell us not to eat pork, not to wear clothes with mixed fabrics, to stone blasphemers, not to cut the edges of our beard.

Oh, I know why, because we are no longer under the law and because MONEY IS THE ROOT OF MANY EVILS! Including lying to church members about tithing!

Rev21:8 All liars will have their part in the lake of fire.

But Greed is as the sin of idolatry so give to the poor and needy.

  • Cheeky everybody knows that tithing is old testament law, you dont have to pretend to tithe by using "THE PALM" just ask the pastor if hes a Levite priest, if he isnt he gets zilch, anyway the old Levitical sacrifices and Law ended years ago, In fact Jesus was not a levitical priest, and he is our high priest , touche, Give if you wish but remember its not a tithe

  • 10%? Hell we regularly donate up to 30% at our church. Maybe that explains why the surrounding communities are diving into proverty while the church pastors drive around in Merc's and BMWs.

  • @angels77100 Right. Most of these ministries teach tithes and offerings.

  • Ha ha! Christians read the instructions when they get a new appliance, but who bothers to read God's instructions on tithing? NOWHERE does God command tithing on wages, just farm produce. Moses gave this commandment to the children of Israel ONLY (Lev.27:30-34).God's a bit fussy on how you keep His Law, and if you do it the wrong way or refuse to keep all the OTHER old laws you fall under the curse of the Law (Gal.3:10-14). If the preacher enforced circumcision male feet would go flying out.

  • Paul gave us clear guidelines on how God wants us to give under the new testament. read cournthians. If someone is teaching you to tithe their not teaching the truth but are trying to put you under the law and that spits in the face of Jesus. also read Galatians The tithe is one of the biggest lie's told in the church today.

its been turned into the gospel of greed!

    filter this!

  • Obviously the video is pointing towards encouraging you, in a comedic way, to give by showing you a poor example of someone who is consumed with the world. Thanks for a second example.

  • I don't see how you can call yourself a Christian and not feel convicted when you don't support God's work. We are called to be soul winners. A little hard to win souls for Jesus when your church can't suppror itself. Where do you think the money is coming from...you. Don't be a free loader. Get your hearts right.

  • What does the Bible teach? What is it?

Tithing is not giving back to God. It was to SUPPORT the Levites, the stranger, and the poor.

The Levitical Priesthood (the only ones who were allowed to take the Tithe), has been abolished.

What does Jesus teach about the Tithe? Only to those who were still under the OT Law. And He said "You hypocrite! You neglect what is more important."

Sadly, when most Churches talk about the Tithe, they distort Malachi 3:8-10 and 2 Cor 9:7, then tell us to Tithe.

  • Abraham didn't give to to the Levites. He gave to Melchisedek which Jesus is a high priest of his order. Tithing started with Abraham and if you want to get technical Tithing started when Man started to worship God with sacrifice.

  • @pyrcival

If you use Abraham's tithe to Melchizedek to show that Tithing predates the Law and thus is still valid, I'll point out that Abraham also gave sacrifices and burnt offerings in Genesis 22:13. So that also predates the Law.

Abraham's Tithe wasn't even from his own possessions. It was from the plunder he gained. He tithed nothing of his own, and kept none of the plunder for himself.

If that's your example of the Tithe, I don't see how we can possibly follow it today.

  • @blueskunk12

Keep spreading the truth, brother. I have seen you in many of the tithing forums on youtube, and you hold it down quite nicely.

  • @pyrcival you error not knowing scripture, abraham tithed once, and only of the spoils of war. Tithing is not a new testament concept. Your either under the law or your not....

  • @ravish4real You are absolutely right!

  • @pyrcival here's one of the best videos I have seen thus far regarding tithing.

    /watch?v=OCVyIbG4nrQ

    type: youtube.com first

  • We are not called to be soul winners. Only God saves.

The Kingdom of God isn't about money. It's about people.

    Matthew 25:35-36 (NIV)

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.

Is the Church doing that? Or are they too busy spending money elsewhere?

  • We are called to be soul winners. I'm talking about going out to preach the gospel to the four corners and sharing the gospel. Of course it's their decision to get saved.

It's not about money only, but if you don't give do you think money is just going to fall out of the air. That is not faith. It's almost as stupid as jumping out of a building and saying God save me.

If you want to justify not giving your tithe then go ahead. I'm not going to rob God.

  • I did not say I don't give. I give more than I can afford, since I'm on Welfare and in debt.

If you want to Tithe, no one can stop you. But I believe that in the same way that Jesus said "anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart" (Matthew 5:28), Jesus also changed the way we should give.

I believe that God doesn't want 10%, as he did when we were under the Old Covenant. I believe we're to give 100%. That anyone who gives less is robbing God.

  • the money is coming from "just giving" AKA "free will giving" ever heard of that? I can ask God myself what He will have me to give. I don't need a pastor telling me what give by imposing a law that wasn't even speaking on money in the first place.

  • Well maybe you can ask God when you're getting rewarded on Judgement Day. Mine as well just do what the bible says. 10% is the Lords and you can give an offering besides.

  • Ha! Ha! What millionaire wears plaid jackets and Mickey Mouse ties!!

  • this is pathetic as if people who dont tithe really think they are gonna get rich by not tithing but there are pastors out there who preach that if you tithe you will magically be taken care of this is why i go to small churches too make sure my money is actually being used for the ministries of god and not to line the pockets of a preacher or a very well off church

  • this is really funny. good work!

  • "I dont believe in tithing but i dont go around making a joke about it..."

You must be kidding. The biggest joke about tithing is the preachers who use scare tactics to get their people to tithe, when tithing was never mandated for the new testament church. You're right, it is a serious matter, but you're blaming the wrong people for joking about it. It's the greedy preachers who are in grave error

  • So BruhDawg, First, What's your system for giving? Paul asked the church to lay up offerings once per week? Does your system provide more or less for the work of God? 2nd, Most Pastor's(80% +) labor at churches w/ 80 or less and struggle to provide for the ministries of the flock, often make about 20-30% less than the average laborer even though most are highly educated. Are saying is that the NT is inferior to the OT in providing for the needs of the church and propagation of the gospel.

  • this was really funny

  • I love me some Stewie Jacobs!

  • this is a bunch of crap

  • see? that is how God opens up the flood gates of blessings is by becoming a money hungry preacher! nuff said.

  • Hilarious! Love the 3 suggestions! I agree, it's good to laugh about these things once in a while =) Thanks for making this =)

  • Uh..yeah...that's great...so...you for or against tithing....can't tell....I don't think anyone is getting rich by not tithing

  • stupid. dude, get some reverence... by the way, nice tie. where'd u git it?

  • Thankyou Stewie, good stuff, keep it coming, we all need to smile from time to time.

  • Funny, funny stuff. Stewie rocks!!!
