  • I want a Cold Steel cardboard sheet slider!

  • Been using one of these or ten years during deer stalking season. A great knife

  • @lardlizard It says JAPAN right on the blade it's a special steel that cold steel uses on the $500.00 swords & better quality knives.? If you hunt this knife does it all & if you look around you can find it for about $80.00 on line.?

  • this is the most amazing hunting knife evar it cuts wait for it fffrruuiiittss!@#$T%

  • Why dont you start a cooking program whit that knife lol

  • @lardlizard Made in china? are you smoking something? get your facts right before you speak...

  • for those who wonder why they are cutting through cardboard its because they wanto show you how good this knife keeps its edge.. its a good test to show because cardboard contains clay it usually i will blunt a knife fast .

  • Awesome, I have always wanted to cut fruit!

  • sharp.

  • Cold steel's video are cheesy buuuut they do make awesome quality knives. I own this one actually. There are better knives but cold steel is hard to beat for the price.

  • nice apple slices, bro

  • There are other ways to dispose of that much cardboard its called a shredder or simply burn it

  • Oh my fucking god. it can even cut sausages!!!

  • Now this is a knife! Between the Master Hunter and the Gerber Big Rock I took the Gerber, only because of the price difference compared to the lighter duty I'd be using it for. The Gerber is fine for me now. The Master Hunter is for another day though! Hopefully a day comming soon lol!

  • Yep those frightening vegetarian hunters out there in the wild stalking there prey. The wild apples stand no chance.

hy not split the apple with your hands ;P

  • the tests performed were designed to show the quality/versatility of the blade and the sharpness of it.

refrain from making stupid comments if you don't know anything about knives ok?

  • @nipzilla Personally, I don't think you know anything about knives. Except for the one you use to open your tampon packets with. Shut the fuck up, no one cares. This video is gay, who really needs a cold steel knife to do what a dull blade can do. I wanna see some throats slit, girls killed and fucking raped. Where is that? Lemme know, you douchy fucking loser.

  • @shitstomp2

    get a life dude -.-

people like u are mostly getting killed because of their simple minds

slice up your own body or better slice your fingers of (it keeps u away from writing stupid comments :> )

  • Just what i wanted. I need a knife that cancut a pear and stab a car hood!

  • it can cut an apple .... thats great!

  • Too bad Cold steel stopped using Carbon V because Camillus died.

  • what does cutin half a mile of card prove, silly test along with cutting fruit

  • @2piecechickenbox cutting the fruit was just to show it can be used for pretty much everything. and cutting the cardboard is to show off the edge retention. I agree, not the best ways to prove a point.

  • @shibdiby i love these vids but the fruit and card was just a bit stupid lol all the other tests i think are good though. amazing how the knifes go though the ropes now that testing a knife :)

  • @2piecechickenbox cardboard is one of , if not the, most damaging object a blade can cut, it will take an edge off of any knife

  • I petty sure any hunting kjnife can cut an apple and make a snack.

  • I've got a new one with the carbon v blade and leather sheath I want to trade for a rajahIII. Any takers go to cdmrmoore@aol.com

  • THOSE ARE SOME HARDCORE FRUIT CUTTING SKILLS

  • :O OMG ths is an extreme test of a blades durability and cutting power, look at the extreme resistence of the cheese...

  • wow. a homeless person could've made a nice temporary shelter for multiple people if you donated that cardboard. what a waste. :(

  • Is Carbon five or San Mai III better? (edge retention)

    -Omar

  • this is for sure one of the most practical knifes you can buy within the limits of a cutting tool.

  • The Master Hunter is the best knife I have ever owned; & this past thanksgiving weekend, I ironically used it out of its context. I attended a friend's thanksgiving dinner, & her macho boyfriend was attempting to carve the turkey with a dull kitchen knife. I had just come from a nature hike (I always bring the M.H. w/ me) and I told him step aside and I began to carve the turkey with that little 4.5" blade.

The slices were so thin, so nicely cut. Every vagina in that room was sopping wet.

  • that carboard test amazes me (dulls a lot of knives very quick

  • is this a cooking show or a knife demo????

  • ahh i think they are cool looking blades, but the advertisment is very stupid! i would never advertise a tool this way. also, the men in this seems like they are shady goons!

  • Comment removed

  • i prefered SOG and Ka Bar

  • haha, what`s with the cardboard dude??

  • damn that cardboard was pretty impressive if it was legit. but i bet it was like the shamwow commercial

  • jack the ripper would love one of these at 5:11

  • 2:41 NOW CLEAN THAT SHIT UP BITCH

  • this guys like to eat...that's easy to see....

  • allways with a nice heavy metal soundtrack on the back...yeah

  • no wonder the post office never has any big boxes. cold steel wastes them all.

  • I can imagine after they finish cutting all that cardboard... "oh shoot, I forgot to press record!"

  • hell it looks like a kitchen knife anyways why not

  • at the end they say i want to see anyone match the knife cold steel makes, try fallkniven knives

  • As a master hunter... i often need to whip out my chopping board in the middle of nowhere and dice up some cheese, salami, fresh fruit and some freshly baked french bread and serve it up on a polished silver severing tray.

I regularly attack pieces of hanging meat and cut through miles of cardboard and punch through the hood of cars... up till now i have been using a plastic spork, thankyou cold steel for answering my prayers! XD

  • @Tactums The food thing was to show it was versatile and can be used for fine and precise cuts,a nd you could use it as a cooking knife when hiking, the hood to show its stabbing power..The cardboard.Well no idea on that one.

  • @blinddesolation that's because paper or carboard gets rid of the edge/sharpness of your blade very very quickly ... for example thats why a utility or handcraft utility knife always comes with a fair amount of spareknives ... do a test take a utility knife and go cut a couple of boxes for a while u'll be surprised on how quickly it gets dull :) it's really true !

  • They're runnin the train on that cardboard!

    2 Live Crew style!

  • lol it does show great sharpness retention... which means its a bitch to sharpen and most likely a high carbon steel that will rust. a easy rusted blade is the last thing i want when im slicing into a wet animal

  • @johnnyboy922 if your blade rusts, u dont know nothing about caring knives.

  • @1987jkilla your right i "dont know nothing" i know alot. watch your double negatives retard. but my real point is dont buy a blade with high carbon content that you will need to oil after every day. I do real work on the farm, my blade gets beat to shit and i let it because it only cost me $20

you can carry your show knives all you want and keep them oiled and not use them. but if you want something nice to look at i suggest you save a little more and buy another tv

  • good point. High Carbon Steel will rust instantly making it unusable. Real farm work requires a softer steel blade that will not rust.........idiot

  • @BigDumbJerk it wont make it unusable but why would i pay so much for a blad that i gotta worry about losing, breaking, damaging. when i can use a perfectly good $20 knife that gets the job done so i can keep working without being a little crybaby about my tools.

and the rust would add up. like today i worked in the rain from 6am until about 1 when the sun came out. that means the blade would be wet all day and rusting. but my stainless steel knife i carried is spotless

  • ok I cant argue with you there. Sorry for calling you an Idiot, I was in a bad mood earlier. I just love my D2 blades and am not a farmer. Every knife has a purpose. If your happy with what you have then no one can tell you other wise.

  • No not the sausage!! *holds crotch*

  • IM FUCKING HUNGRY NOW

  • I know rite. LOL

  • @ZappaUndersn agreed. damn!

  • haha i like how they play the hardcore badass cold steel music as he cuts fruit

  • @Thomas2112 yeah, but espacially u can't cut fruits,bread etc. with a regula 10£ pocket knife

NO YOU HAVE TO USE THIS 150$ HUNTING KNIFE :-D

  • i hope they recycle

  • I become hungry watching this... bb I will eat now. ;D

  • after cardboard was cut

    JANITOR was like HELL!!! LOL

  • haha you make me laugh lol

  • poor HOBOS you know how much of that card board could have been used for card board HOUSES dam COLDSTEEL LOL

  • I know I was the janitor. Got mad and told them to clean up their mess and they fired me. It's okay I used the same knives to slash their tires. That knive really does work.

  • I have this knife in VG1 San Mai III. Why did they use the Carbon 5 model for the cutting test? Doesn't the San Mai version hold the same hardcore edge retention?

  • Not really. San Mai III uses VG1 as a core steel which is a good steel, near the top for intermediate steels, but Carbon (so long as it's treated right) will keep an edge better.

  • Haha, look, our knives can cut cheese! XD

  • Yeah I'm not a big fan of this demo. They have better ones.

  • Cold Steel Paper Shredder!

  • The cardboard cutting is like they gangbanging the knife :D

  • I have think the same.... LOL

  • OMG, this knife can cut, apples, pears, cheese, and even sausage! Where did they come up with these crazy ideas? And why do I always end up hungry from watching these videos?

  • you know, my friend the apples are the ultimate test for eny kinda of blades. if you pased them, your golden.

  • I thought cheese was the penultimate test for a knife.

  • i really don't understand the significance of cutting fruit

  • i dont inderstand why anyone would need to slice a huge hunk on meat right down the middle!!!!! Fag

  • to show the defensive capabilities

  • Accidentally walk into a biker bar in San Francisco. The fruit there can get aggressive.

  • like u cant do that with any hunting knife....don't understand

  • Beginning made me hungry lol.
