  • que paso que no pudo aterrizar? por favor que alguien me lo exlpique.

    Gracias

  • why is go around?O.o

  • nice video by the way, a G/A just in the flare...........how did you guys get into a pissing match ? why are we talking about politics here ? it's an aviation video for god sake !

  • wonder why he did this, i don't see any reason for it..

  • @beeeneee Usually Go-Around is caused by bad weather or traffic on run-way. There was probably another plane taxiing. That would be my duess.

  • @MrTrueFinn I agree, or he cocked up his final approach? unlikely but a possibility.

  • cool.

  • sounds like a motor boat

  • the beautiful sound of those engines just brings tears to my eyes such power real power....................oh god that sound of those engines kicking off makes me want to hug them...........beautiful..beautiful

  • @ramprashad29 LMAO!! What a comment, tumbs up man!

  • do you know why you did a go around?

  • Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr................

  • 3 ba aircrafts at 3:04

  • EXCELENT GO AROUND !

  • Brilliant video. One of the world's best airlines and airliner in action. What do you

get fot it?Over 1000 imbecil comments!!!!

  • its good they make the choice to go around instead of landing and possibly fucking up thats what makes a good pilot good choice not trying to be a hero

  • nice example of last moment go-around decision. looks like landing a little fast & long so took the right option although could well have been to avoid possible runway incursion. what ever the reason the decision looks like a good one.

how about cutting out the political crap from these feedback comments you peanut sized brain retards!!

  • Too fast?

  • what happend? why go second round?

  • The German pilot probably said to the tower "Vaat do you mean vee forgot our landing gear?"

  • @dgl1962

    Um...no.

  • That move does tend to get ppl worried but the pilot did good execution of that inadequate airport. Could use another three or four runways but nowhere to put them.

  • All germans r here.nice.

  • That must be frustrating for pilots, to be ready to end a long haul flight and get a few hundred feet above the runway just to be told to go around.

  • @AlevliTurkGs if there is something usual it´s an american airlines aircraft on the runway, that´s the reason for 50% of my go arounds

  • Amazing video dude! Damn you were just 60ft to go! Did you shit your pants?

  • on a plane is the windows sound proof?

  • very professional... thats the way .. AN EXPERT

  • I had a missed approach last week flying on lufthansa to a small airport in Poland, and it was scary as hell! Everyone on board panicked because it sounded like the engines are faltering, and the fu**ing german pilot didn't say a word about what's going on! I was sure I'm dying right then and there! (remember these are the same Germans that killed 6 million Jews in ww2 so I don't trust them at all.)

  • @BRUCEBAUM45

Please remember that at least German Engineers developed Jet Flying!! Apart from so many other innovations vou are using every day....and Lufthansa definitely is one of the safest airlines in the world!

What the hell you wanna say with your last sentence???I am german! And I didn't kill anybody! And I won't do so the rest of my life....so how you dare to say something like that???

Have you attended any kind of school? I don't think so, otherwise you won't be so stupid!!!

  • @BRUCEBAUM45 You do realize that not every German was a Nazi right? My best firends grandfather fa=ought for Germany in WWII; and he hated Hitler...or rather, he kinda feared him. Saying the things you have said is racist in itself, and if you WEREN'T jewish, I would go as far as to say you're almost as bad as a Nazi.

  • @BRUCEBAUM45 What a moronic comment. It shows how stupid you are. Ridiculous...

  • @BRUCEBAUM45 you are a moron

  • @BRUCEBAUM45 you are a moron you are going to blame a race for what their grandparents did?

  • @BRUCEBAUM45 Lold Germany today has nothing to do with nazi germany. Also jews are currently doing same in their criminal country stolen from muslims who have lived there peacefully way before them, so I cant feel any sympathy to you.

  • Pilot must have seen, or expected a runway incursion. Most likely explanation.

  • You do realize, you're supposed to have any electronic with an on/off switch OFF during landing right?

  • @Skullteen It doesn't mess anything up anyway.

  • @dixondw13 Rules are rules, that was my whole point. What makes you so special that you dont have to observe them? Besides, if it has an on/off switch, it can mess with electronics in the cockpit. Having said that, I doubt your camera is powerful enough to do that.

Oh and great vid by the way, you had the PERFECT seats for a 747 flight (next to the top deck, nose of directly over the wing seats).

  • @Skullteen You've been Brainwashed. If an electronic device emits enough RF interference

to throw off Aviation equipment off it would kill you on the spot.

  • @GenuineMW2 "Now, it’s rather unlikely that any sort of emission from portable electronics will cause interference to the shielded, digital systems of a modern airliner — even including things like cell phones and two way radios (like, say, the one that powers your laptop’s wifi… yes, wifi is a form of radio, just like your cell phone). However, unlikely and impossible are two different things."

Go and educate yourself. You can also read my flight manual if you want. This isn't a conspiracy.

  • @Skullteen That quote says its HIGHLY unlikely. I could shield a cable with tin foil and get better results.

  • @GenuineMW2 But not impossible. Igot a question though, where did this flight depart from?

  • @Skullteen OMG, its like 1 in 100,000. idk where it departed from.

  • @GenuineMW2 But you were on the flight! How could you not know?

  • @Skullteen Wrong Person.

  • okY

  • i think tht was boreding

  • hi

  • @AlevliTurkGs Not really

  • @AAmatt777

    yeah really.im serious.

  • @AAmatt777 when i was on lufthansa landing in franfurt we had to go around and when we landed in venice too.

  • @AAmatt777

Why u guys switch on your defense mode ? Go around is a decision which can save lives...Your attacks wouldn't change my mind. Its still usual.

  • @AlevliTurkGs too much drinkin??

  • @AlevliTurkGs Idiot! Lufthansa wouldnt go around without a good reason.. Lufthansa is one of the top 10 airlines in the world. Great airline with pilots that knows exactly what they are doing! :D

  • @AlevliTurkGs You know that having to go around is normaly not the own planes fault but the fault of others

  • Must have been some one still trying to exit the runway. He was damn near in the flare when he went around.

  • Lol I was on a lufthansa flight yesterday to dulles in dc and the approach was very rough. Passengers screaming and panicking lol. It was a party when the 747 landed.

  • I LOVE THAT SOUND! DAMN! AWESOME!

  • Ok kids we've been to NY now we are going home :P

  • Muito bom video....gostei

Assista tbm meus videos: Decolagem de vitória

    (Brazil)

  • scaryyyy :S

  • why?

  • You just cant beat the sound of the Rolls Royce RB211-524H or they could be General Electric CF6-80C2B5F

  • Comment removed

  • What happened? It could be landing, not go around?

  • why did it go around?

  • PW engines

  • too long approach-.- that would only be interesting if you would have been inside the cockpit

  • I was on a go around one time flying into a small regional airport. The pilot was just a few seconds short of touchdown when he spooled the engines. As we started to turn right to make another attempt, the pilot came on the radio and said "sorry folks, but it is sort of hard to land with a truck on the runway"...LOL...I agree...

  • eem not going around jfk once is quite enough//?

  • Yeah! Deff not!

  • If you start looking from 2:50 it seems like the aircraft was too fast, it happened to me last year. Upon landing the wind changed and the aircraft had to go faster to keep the airspeed but too fast to land, so the pilot did a go-around and landed in the opposite direction.

  • So frustrating, I hate when that happens.

  • sweat video best go around ive ever seen

  • coming in far to quick!!

  • @SuperRaygunman i think it was new york (KJFK), as you can read in the description :DD

  • Some of the comments on here just sadden me. Do some research before you start coming up with theories about why the captain elected to go around. He was most certainly NOT too far down the runway to stop; major international airports have 11,000+ foot runways in order for these jets to have safe room to land. The Boeing 747-400 is capable of landing safely in just over 6 and a half thousand feet, due to the use of sophisticated autobraking systems and antiskid devices, coupled with reverse thr

  • @englandish43 Yes its capable of landing in much shorter distance, but if you have autobrake already setted you just not quickly change it, its wiser to make go around.

  • @Pvjinflight I don't understand what you're saying, sorry. It is possible to change autobrake settings, there is a knob on the center pedistal labelled: "AUTOBRAKES" with the settings from left to right: "OFF, DISARM, 1, 2, 3, 4, MAX AUTO." Any of these numerical settings can be selected within a second, there's no special process to it.

  • Silly pilots! How can you screw that up!!

  • Yeah he was way to far down the runway to stop if he landed. From FSX I know u needed to be down before the second set of lined to have a chance of stopping. Maybe a little further if your light enough but if your heavy you should be at least partly on the ground with your nose wheel almost down if you want to stop.

  • @dcccapfan You dont learn that from FSX as in FSX planes stop way too easily. And anyway its not that simple, in major airpots runway is often long enough that planes could stop in much shorter distance than is from normal touchdown point to end, but they dont usually do it to save brakes and make landing more comfortable.

  • @dcccapfan uummm... No. Go back to your flight simulator. He was just inside the "touchdown zone" when he went around. There was some other reason...

  • @dcccapfan umm JFK runway is 14000 feet...

  • Thank god I have never been in such a situation, I hate flying.

  • Fckin israel!

  • from the video i guess that the aircraft might land far right of runway centerline and the pilot decided to rejected landing

  • I love go-arounds because you get some action for your money :D

  • Listen to til' I collapse at half full volume while playing this video

  • skip to 2:55 if u don't want to waste your time :)

  • @markovicmitchell - at least the uploader was good enough to mention this in the description.

  • YAY we have landed! wait a minute! DOH!

  • 2:58 very awesome sound *_* like it ♥

  • go around can be quite scary. once i was landing in charlotte in a jet blue e190 and a plane crossed our runway. we hit really hard and then the engines blazed as we began to climb again. Even the pilot said he was scared when he came on the mike

  • fuck this! do you know how hard it is for the pilot to RE-Approach....lol (FSX Experience)

  • the plane saw chuck norris near the runway and decided to not land, smart plane

  • What happened that you needed to go around again? I commend the pilot for paying attention to whatever was in his way, if anything

  • glad the pilot doesn't pay for the damage on the engines lol :D he really reved those beasts

  • Its the Canarsie approach 13L

  • Wow! what a tease! That 747 lifted off like a feather

Also, is that a standard approach into JFK? no straight line approach? is this due to the high traffic?

  • @gperalta02 by now it must've had little fuel left so its very light

  • @gperalta02 by now it must've had little fuel left so its very light for its power

  • what happened? you how long after landing? is what you've landed in this airport? thank you!

  • I thought only the RB engines made that growl and the GE engines made more of a high pitched scream???

  • Hello!

What was the reason for "go around"?

  • Its impressive how fast the cabin crew makes an announcement. LH runs a very professional operation. (they should train other carriers)

  • why did you goaround?

    greetings from germany

  • best video I've seen...why didn't they just land if they were 2 feet from landing?

  • @deltaflyer57 safty first..!! I think the pilot knew what he was doing... and it didn't feel right ... i think :)

  • Sweet, looks like he was doing the parkway visual approach into JFK but why did he have to go around when he was practically at touch down?

  • nice sound!

  • I cant stop watching!!!!

  • Dont you have to turn off the electronic equipmentd when you are landing?

  • @wajame loooooooooooooooool..... is it dangerous? i dont think so... :)

  • @Ndjumbah i don't know, but is what the captain says when is close to landing......

  • @wajame

I think so, then again I watched Mythbusters recently were they had a small private Jet and were testing if a cellphone has any effect on it's electronics. Even usinig 1000 times the power it emits nothing happened, the isolation is that well. And now imagine those big passenger jets have an even greater isolation. It's all about safety, but using normal electronics should be definetely fine.

  • @Mutio86 The reason they have to be turned off is due to the constant flow of new devices hitting the market. It isn't financially feasible to ensure that every single device will not have any effect on the instruments. It's easier to ban their use below 10,000'.

  • Why did it go-around? Love the traffic at 2:25 lol

  • Are these planes safe to fly in because I am taking one on vacation.

  • @TheGamerPlus That's like asking are cars safe to ride in?

Are subways safe to ride in?

Are bikes safe to ride in?

Are elevators safe to ride in?

It all depends, but 747s are pretty safe.

  • Approach seemed a little fast and possibly high...but hard to tell from that prospective.

  • @familyguyruification Better start saving then. Average cost right now for training from Private through MEI and Regional Jet Bridge Training is $87k. I did my training at Delta Connection Academy (now Aerosim Flight Academy following the Delta/Northwest merger), which trained everyone long and hard for a year and then had them work as an instructor for another year before getting an interview with a Delta Connection Carrier. In my case though, I went to Japan to work for ANA after completion.

  • I new it was kjfk! was there twice in my life... but the approach was pretty unique, not stabilized at all, starange

  • beautiful..music for my ears

  • scary!!!!!

  • Great Video! These must be the RB211 engines. I love this roaring sound when they spool up to full throttle!

  • @akzke GE CF6's

  • @AAmatt777 RB211

  • @akzke No, not RB211's. Lufthansa use General Electric CF6's on their 744's.

  • @akzke there arent rb211's on 747's

  • @akzke I do think that these are GE`s I know for a fact that thes are not RR

  • @akzke Yeah, they're really amazing it's true

  • @julikem xD

  • i hate that tinitus noice...

  • OMG!!!!!!!! :D Scary

  • this should be played at high volume

  • Cool

  • damn i love the sound!!!!

  • seems like pilot error. The aircraft is coming way too fast..

  • why did he go around

  • love it love it love it love it love it love it love it love it :D

  • what seat number is that? :)

  • Off course.

  • Because the air again? happened

  • mmmmmm hear that TOGA

  • Excellent video, i'd be the one in my seat shouting.. ARRGGHH OHH MYY GOODD WERE ALL GUNA DIEEEE, WHYY MEEEEEEE IM TOO BEAUTIFUL TO BURN LIKE A SAUSAGE!!!!

  • How did you record this ? Sorry if I'm speakin bad english :S .I'm a German :D

  • Full taxi-way presumably.

  • Exactly the same happened to me when i flew with Alitalia MD-80 to Malpensa (Milano). We were this close to landing but because of windy conditions, we had to go-around.

  • Wow..great vid!! nice and low... wonder what the reason for the go-around was??

  • this would've been an unique experience

  • amazing video thanks 4 share it!!

  • @ numloxx

Yes, there was a train parked on runway, better to go around ;)

  • @scaramonga1 how u know that??

  • Might as well have been a touch and go.

    Why did yall go around

  • Comment removed

  • Left it pretty late.... any idea what the cause of the go around was?

  • ein zwei drei..... luft!

  • Too much cracking noice in the back ground, and no explaination as to why the plane did not land when it was suppose to.

  • it was so close to landing why did it take off again sorry cant see in the description why

  • why did you have to take off again coz you were so close from landing

  • Lufthansa charges the same as other Airlines, say a round trip flight to Frankfurt cost 1,200 dollars from the US, well they offer the WORST seat, torn carpets and food. NO IN SEAT Entertainment, nothing for the 10 hour long flight, worst, they charge more than other airlines that provide in seat entertainment. Its a ripoff and a corrupt business. At their airport, expect to pay 5 dollars for a 12oz bottle of can and 10 dollars for a bag of chip, they steal your money on the air and ground

  • Subcribe to my channal, but you should be interested in planes and machines! it's worth to subcribe me and when you want it I subcribe you back ;-)
