The line-up at the concert this comes from included all seven musicians who had been Weavers members at some point - Pete Seeger, Ronnie Gilbert, Lee Hayes, Fred Hillerman, Bernie Krause, Frank Hamilton and Erik Darling. However I think that this particular version of BoM has just the four original members performing.
The Banks of Marble was the first song recorded by the Weavers. All the Weavers were at this concert: Pete Seeger, Ronnie Gilbert, Fred Hellerman, Lee Hays, Erik Darling, Frank Hamilton, and Bernie Kraus.
Thank you, Allen. Fred H. sang the third verse. His voice is memorable, even if I blank on his name. When I get work, I will look for the CD, b/c this song especially should be played at full volume.
This recording is from the Weavers' album made at Carnegie Hall in 1963. My uncle had the album, and it was quality from start to finish. They were an awesome group--Seeger of course, Lee Hayes, Ronnie Gilbert (The lady) and another male singer I can't identify. Particularly their concert performances were terrific--"Sloop John B., "So Long, it's Been Good to Know Ya," and others.
@musicmandon1 That album was a huge part of the soundtrack of my childhood - Wimoweh, Guantanamera, Rambling Boy, Come Away Melinda, Goodnight Irene and more besides, but BoM was always my favourite..
Actually is this from their 1963 concert. I believe so.

Sounds like the same kinds of problems happening on Wall Street and with the Banksters nowadays.

Yes. Should be played at full volume with bankers locked in and forced to listen time after time, over and over until they get the message.
