Does anyone really honestly believe that CBS' stupid "The Talk" has higher ratings than "As the World Turns"?! I think not! This show demands to be brought back!
Did anyone else here how she said don't think of it as goodbye but good night??? I sure hope it comes back. I broke out in tears when I heard this. :(
I have to admit, I barely watched this soap opera, given the amount of time it was on-air, which I know is a travesty to some of you comment givers, but I even had chills at the last words and closing shot. RIP Helen Wagner and ATWT.
i have to be honest, during the 1970s and 1980s' i was a big fan of the cbs soaps - as the world turns, the guilding light, search for tomorrow, capitol, the bold & the beautiful and the young & the restless.........THESE SOAPS WERE GREAT BACK THEN !!! WHEN I WAS A TEENAGER !!! during these past recent years, my interest just really dropped. but as for the old AS THE WORLD TURNS, i will always remember, KIM & BOB, AND DAN AND SUSAN, NANCY, JOHN - ALL THOSE GREATS !! "ALWAYS"
OMG, this ending made me sob.....as a long time viewer (30+) years, I am heartbroken. Kudos to Don Hastings and Kathryn Hays for that stellar final performance.
An excellent ending for a excellent soap opera. They stayed true to the ideas of the soap opera. It opened with the words "Good morning" and closed with "Good night."
I AM HAPPY IT ENDED BECAUSE THERE WERE NO JAPANESE SCHOOLGIRLS WITH WET PANTIES IN IT. SO IT WAS WORTHLESS,!!!!!!!
