  • saw this when i was 10 on channel 10, i think it was a network channel,,, horror theatre

  • I have not seen this type of murder scene.I also feel that It's like a nightmare.

  • This movie scared me so much as a kid, thanks for the upload!

  • The first death scene is like a really bad nightmare.

  • thanks much love

  • This movie was one of my favorite childhood horror flicks. Everyone were fascinated or afraid of certain things e.g clowns, mannequins, dolls. As a child, I always had a fear of mannequins coming to life. When I was at department stores and seen the life like mannequins standing still...I often wondered if their alive or were alive. Its a creepy movie indeed. I've been searching for this film on YouTube for a great while. Thanks for the upload!

  • This started out really campy and ridiculous. Actually ended up being VERY well done and creepy. Thanks for uploading.

  • I saw this movie on HBO while in college around 1980. I was in the basement of my fraternity watching it alone. Scared the crap put of me! Can't believe it's here. Thx for the upload!

  • Been forever since I've seen this one.

  • classic!

  • OMG - I believe I saw this more than 20 years ago on teleivision. I thought it was so disturbing as a kid. It deffinitely scared me at the time. I was randomly looking at a list of horror movies from the 70s and this popped up... and I'm like... "Hey! I've been wanting to see this again!!" : ) Anyway, great movie, and apparently Stephen King liked it as well. : )

  • @drvenkman1981

Same here. I love the feeling of discovering something you've always wanted to know from childhood.

  • I saw this movie when I was 9 years old and it made a big impression on me, it was too weird of a movie for a 9 year old. I liked the movie and it got me interested in horror movies, i still remember this movie 25 years later.

  • one of my all time favorites and very, very creepy. An overlooked gem.

  • I have a facebook page called "the good horror film guide" where i review good and bad horror films and post up links to full films any subscribers would be appreciated.

  • Thank you Internet

  • should've gone out the window.

  • Well the intro caught my attention!

  • this little sleeper contains virtually no blood and guts, yet somehow pulls you into its story. contemporary horror film makers take note, atmosphere and imagination create far superior storytelling.

  • is this the only slasher flick where a guy gets killed first? it's usually a woman!

  • Being that my moms knew what a horror movie freak I was as a kid, with my leatherface, and Farmer vincent (see motel hell) posters on my wall, she saw this flick one day on the movie channel and thought it was right up my alley. and you know what? it was. can you imagine a mom recommending a sick movie like this to a 11 year old. my moms is the shit!!!

  • Creepy mannequins with fros are always creepy

  • there is a Stewart Slausen on Facebook! His profile pic is of Slausens brother.

  • Wow wow wow

  • why have you put Trst Trp ?

  • ^^^for all we know the movie title could be "Trust Tarp"^^^

  • OMG! I laughed my ass off at 05:04! I keep rewinding it...it's hilarious! LOL

  • it just started and iam already shitting myself lol

  • that black haired woman with the cut-off jeans is a fucking GODDESS. didn't she play in dynasty or dallas?? i want to have multiple babies with her.

  • God this music is so creepy

  • @Pinkranger87 i know..i heard this as a kid and was like: 'what the f*(% ?' very freaky music. next to the shining and the omen..tourist trap music is creepy as heck

  • I LOVE YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

  • MANSON international? CHARLES band productions? Um...yeah.

    \8-o

When I was a kid and I saw that cackling mannequin for the first time, I laughed my head off. XD

  • I saw this when I was 11 on Kansas City's Creature Feature in 1985. The next Monday in school it was all anyone was talking about. Scared the crap outta me and many others. Kids today don't know how good they have it. When I was a child mannequins actually looked like the ones in this movie. These days they look like cartoons or only vaguely human. But back in 1979 *shudder* imagine being in a store teeming with realistic looking mannequins smiling at you with TEETH! Very Scary!

  • @priceleatherbarrow You weren't living in Wichita by any chance, were you? I used to watch this on KSHB 41 Creature Feature with Crematia Mortem and I have the EXACT SAME MEMORIES of this film. I was also 11 and it would have been 1985 when I first saw this. I also used to watch Commander USA and Saturday nightmares. Tourist Trap really was the one that stood out because it seemed everyone had seen it but couldn't remember what it was called.

  • its a lode off shit

  • Holy fuck that's kind of scary. I would promptly shit myself.

  • this movie came out after halloween in 1978 is Halloween Tourist Trap is 1979

  • Screw trying to open the door, I'd be taking out those puppets.

  • I've always wanted to see this!! Thanks for uploading!!!

  • i love this its just ..i just kept wishing it wouldnt end heheh

  • I saw this movie like in 82'!! Scared me then scares the hell outta me now

  • saw this back in 85 on inghtowl theater .. one of the best !....

  • Empty water bottles are traditionally thrown aside in disgust.

  • I love Tourist Trap. Chuck Connors played a good southern museum owner with a dark side. But when the Davey character comes, is it Chuck in the outfit or what? It's confusing.

  • Man, I'd hate to be in that room tripping.

  • Hmmm. Not his day.

  • Argh this is scary!

  • 0:20 Title. 1979. I've just seen the trailer. That's why I'm here now! Cute girls wearing cut-offs... yeah, I'll watch this movie!

  • "Look at the size of that hole!" ah that just made laugh xD

  • Forget Tanya Roberts. That first guy is a hot-rodding fox.

  • This is some freaky shit! Nothing can compare to how films are made nowadays to how these were made. These type of movies were class. Shame really , But always classics!

  • Thanks so much for uploading this

  • Loved this movie for the longest. Remember seeing it as a kid and Chuck Connors always spooks me out no matter what role he does.

House of Wax (2005) copied off this movie big time

Please do not go into any deserted place if no one answers

  • @jazzysbag Lots of things in common for sure but house of wax was a remake of a 1953 films so if anything this is ripping off the original house of wax. But this movie rocks so just saying.

  • @SlasherGod666 Hey friend ;O)

In watching the House of Wax with Paris, I found it to have nothing to do with the 1953 version. Am not sure why they said that it was a remake. Maybe to bring more viewers in.

Tourist Trap was a one of a kind film. It too was nothing like House of Wax with Vincent Price.

Just found so many similarities to the so called remake of House of Wax with Tourist Trap ;o)

And like you said this movie rocks ;o)

Did you see Vincent Price's House of Wax?

  • @jazzysbag No actually i have not, should i look for it? i am a slasher film fanatic always lookin for the next horror icon. newer horrors focus to much on gore i find the best slasher ive seen as of late was chromeskull in laid to rest so if you have any suguestions i would love to hear them

  • @SlasherGod666 Am more of an old head when it comes to horror..like

Vincent Price films, the above movie, will let you know if any come to mind.

    Horror Castle (1963) was good

  • netflix has this movie guys, i noticed alot of u mentioning how hard it is to find, ive seen it everywhere lol im watching it for the first time now though

  • Man, that music made the movie. I feel so strange/good when I listen to it.

  • OMG! It's the laughing hyena from "Lady and the Tramp" 5:49

  • I wanted to watch this but Tanya Roberts...? Oh no, she ruined the James Bond movie "A view to a kill" (the one with the blimp over San Francisco, you know), she is so shallow. A walking Barbie doll. Hmmm...let's just hope she gets killed first.

    I stay tuned.

  • @gnaaade Believe me, there are far less prettier actresses with far less talent who've inexplicably had much more lucrative careers. Julia Roberts (I saw Erin Brockovich, and how she got the Oscar for THAT is a mystery).

  • @restlessr84

I didn't watch Erin Brockovich but I liked Julia Roberts in "Pretty Woman" (long time ago, I know).

  • good start, has potential

  • I like the beginning. Man. I feel really sorry for the first guy that had gotten killed. Poor guy. Those mannequins scarying him and the glass bottles flying out towards them are frightening. I kinda wished he'd survived.

  • I'm doing a video review for this classic sometime this week. Please stop by my channel within the next 2-3 days to see it, even though a review is kind of pointless since you can just watch the movie here.

  • w at ch m o v i e s . n e t

  • this movie is impossible to find thanks for posting

  • watching this on Valentines Day. My mom told me about it!!!!! Thanks for putting it up! :-)

  • I think these guys are in for a surprise. HAHAHAH!

  • Insane.

  • WOW! I saw that movie a long time ago in France, in 1980! Great soundtrack by Pino Donaggio (a composer who worked with Brian De Palma)!

  • Holy crap, they're lost in the Hollywood Hills!

  • he´s a very calm person isnt he? there are puppets terrorizing him, a house which doesnt let him out, but he acts lke he has got a choice... .. well, at least there is some kind of panic in his eyes i think^^ ... ... .. however... this movie rocks

  • thanks for uploading this cult classic

  • That laugh at 5:50-5 is the same one used for the hyena from Lady and the Tramp.

  • dodgy opening theme tune alert

  • and tell me thats not the sesame street theme on the radio 2.41 lol

  • Thats strange, this movie is on DVD through Full Moon, the company behind the Puppet Master series.

  • Amazing Have never been able to find this. you rock.

  • This movie is nowhere on the internet but here, thank you!

  • Yeah, I was surprised it wasn't on here because as far as I know, there's no significant claim to it, it's thirty-some years old and it's one of the most-sought after titles.

  • @MidAtlanticGal ahh, and it's a CHICK who uploaded it...you have a sister i can watch this with and make out with? lmao

  • @sashavice go to 1channel.ch it has this and many more.

  • Mmmm. Wel yer just a yummy midAtlantic gal aren't ya? Yes you are! You are you are you are!

  • thanks for downloading...havn't seen this in years!!!!

  • Thank you for posting. I was looking for this for a long time.

  • at 7:10,the resemblance to the late great MJ is eerie

  • Well, I just be damned! I think I found a horror movie!

  • i've been looking for this movie for a while now. Thanks for upload rare horror films. if you want to find the person whos realted to argento she on my friends her name is Angelina the demoness.

  • you star!

  • I think a lot of guys have gotten distracted by Tanya!

Thanks and hope you enjoy the movie.

  • @MidAtlanticGal I loved her as Midge on "That '70s Show"... :D

  • Scratch that last part of the comment, I just checked on imdb and Tanya was first in a movie called 'Forced Entry' in '75.

Sorry I was distracted by her hot pants!!!

  • Wow, Thanks for this, a real rare find, with some very creepy scenes.

Also it has the very lovely Tanya Roberts in what I think was her movie debut. 5/5
