Simone is a good singer, and I love Epica, but the more I hear it I realize that she lacks a lot of energy when she sings, her voice has no power, compare her singing with Floor Jansen and you will hear what I mean.

This is a mere observation and technicality, I still love Simone and Epica regardless!

@justatallguy May be powerless live, but perfect in studio. I think she cares of her voice, that's why she's not "forcing" live... (sorry if my english is bad ^^)

@niahaa That doesn't make any sense, live is when you truly conquer your fans, live is when the voice has to work, for any metal band. If she can do it in studio, she should be able to do it live, since she isn't performing as well it means they are enhancing her voice in studio.

@justatallguy Uh ? So you think they record 10 songs in one afternoon ? The vocals for ONE song can take a few days to be recorded. In studio, when you feel your voice is tired, you can stop and start again when you feel better. In live, even if you force and feel it hurts, you have to keep on singing, and then you could broke your voice. Studio and live are two different worlds, especially for singers.

@niahaa not that bad (not my language either I´m from colombia), but i think the live performances are the one that count, studio can make a lot of things, but simone as well as most of symph metal vocalists sing acapella in stage, that´s why she should care
