We've had both of our quakers with lovebirds and they get along well. My first quaker actually tried to teach the lovebird to talk, it was cute. They loved each other very much and after the parakeet was killed after flying into a ceiling fan the lovebird, who we only had a year, basically grieved to death.

@yellowpinkteddy . they can be loud, but mine is only loud in speech. Color doesnt matter and a price cant be put on the nect 35 amazing years you will share together. they are illegal in a lot of states so I would just buy it and be extremely happy. they require a lot of time and attention

That's wonderful! I have a 4 year old female (DNA sexed) Quaker. Her laugh sounds evil! She rarely talks (was nearly 1 when I adopted her). However, she made up her own word , "squarrow", she says it when looking out the window. It's probably a combo of squirrel + sparrow.
