  • well done :) i love anything pc related and this was a great project.

  • awesome work man, you gave me an idea to paint my keyboard housing . i have one question. I want to mount all my PC components in a Plexiglas case, Does the motherboard have to be grounded like the power supply to the case? Or can i just run a ground wire from the powe supply to the motherboard an make it look neat an clean?

  • this is just fucking weird

  • Commuter Computer?

  • great job on the bike computer

  • yoyoyoyo thats ttt tight nice work

  • Well. I'll be damned. Comes to show, you can always learn from a Jedi, thank you for this lesson. your padawan will not soon forget.

  • hope it doesn't catch fire

  • How often does your computer get hot enough to catch the desk on fire? ;-)

The temperature is fine, especially considering it's a VIA processor at less than 1.3Ghz. Low-power usage.

  • i meant from teh wood

    and i like it 10/10 :D

  • @jediknight0 Mine burns every day. That or my pants are on fire and not the pc.

  • great case

  • I'd ride that bike...........

  • thats very gay but very taleneted (my opinion)

  • u took the HDD apart? dude, i hope you put the zero vacuum back in...

  • hard drives are not vacuum sealed, that's actually a myth.

Every hard drive actually had a vent hole (often covered by just a sticker) so that the air inside can expand and contract slightly.

Those guys in bunny-suits who build drives do that to remove dust contamination - they don't actually have oxygen tanks strapped to thier backs.

  • Are H DD's photo sensitive though?

  • Nope. At least not to "normal" light.

  • @jediknight0 If you open the harddrive you increase the risk of causing a major amount of damage to the drive by up to 70%. Dust, smoke, and other particles in the air WILL get on the platter or other internal components and possibly cause problems down the road. Yes there is 2 vents in the drive but those have filters on them. In general it's just a bad bad bad idea to open a harddrive unless you are fine with a crash or data loss.

  • @NewProductions

Well, I've done several hard drive mods and they are all working fine today. That being said, I usually use the modded drive as a dedicated swap drive just in case & put the OS on another disk.

  • great mod, perfectly done, but don't you think doing the mouse was overkill? (or roadkill?)

  • not the best colour scheme. But awesomely done.

  • wow very creative! Great job!
