It really centered around a character's death and the events that led up to it. It wasn't the best of seasons. But I watched it anyways, I love the show, just it should have been given a better story line for the final few episodes. That is just my opinion of course. I just hated the loose ends that never got tied up.  But I won't spoil it for you if you haven't seen it yet.

Sad to say, the show is now history. I think it should have ended at season 5, I really didn't care for the last season. I watched it none the less, just to see what happened. I know it is not expensive to buy on Amazon, even used copies are next to nothing. I am just waiting for the final season to be released. That is to have the complete series.

I always used to laugh at the ungainly way in which the woman on the right got up from her sunlounger (19 seconds), and then I noticed that by the next season or so they'd actually gone to the trouble of re-shooting it so she looked more ladylike...these small details really do make a difference! Although I wish they'd left it in as it was so hysterical to watch, it almost made up for that terrible plagerised theme song (Julie Andrews must have had a fit when she heard it!)

I just started watching the L Word a few weeks back, and Im already half way in season 4. Im straight and male, but still love this show.

It really dosn't matter if your straight or gay, because watching The L Word is simply watching great writing, directing and amazing acting combined in a brilliant way, mixing equal doses drama with comedy.
