Hell yeah, i got an ULTIMA PRO!!!! it has to be a 89-91 model, pulled it out of the box after its been in storage since 1993. i have the white model and looked around on ebay and found the exact same one for $750, LOL
i have a 1990 kyosho ultima 2.its not running.it sat in a box in the garage for 14 years.it was my older brothers, but he said i could have it after i found it last year..I would love to fix it up.
I agree this is a classic rc car. You should take more car of it. As a investment point of view, these cars are going up in value. Keep thus and buy a plastic brushless and drive. You could rebuild these beauty. The camera work was not so good. Thanks for sharring.
@thegoodbear1 I don't see this thing from an investment point of view, I see it from a nostalgic point of view. I have plenty of other RC's to drive, I only drive this one from time to time. And if you saw the condition it was in under the body, you would know that the only way this car could be rebuilt and be worth anything is if you replaced every part of it. It had a hard life when I was a kid, and it shows.
@melruss169 ok, first off, I've had that car since I was a kid, and so it was already beat to hell. I have no reason not to run it. There are people with real classic and antique cars that drive them on a regular basis, so I see no issue with running a historic RC car from time to time. It's not like I'm out to destroy it or light it on fire, all it's doing is what it's meant to do. Geez.
i found my ultima pro in the storage not to long ago. Its in super duper clean condition with gold option shocks and everything. I may post it up on ebay soon so look for it if you are looking to get another one. Dang this thing brings back memories.
I have an 87 Ultima and an 88 Ultima Pro, both are getting set to get powered up. I need electronics, motors, and batteries and I'll be up and running.
The video was shot about a week before it was posted. The car would still run if I hadn't broken one of the rear axles. Trying to find a new one, but it's not easy getting parts for these old cars! :)
dude, i love the Ultima, im 35 and when i was like 18 or sumthin, I won 2nd place at a little rollerskate rink in RI racing, it was awesome, i had some modified motor and cat tires on it.
Hey I know that place, Some cool guy use to live there :)

That's awesome! When you do get them on the road (or off) you should post a video reply to mine. I'd love to see them go.
