What kind of trucks do you drive? By NO MEANS is a V6 Tacoma slow, I work at a dealership, I drive all different kinds of vehicles daily and for mid sized trucks the V6 Tacoma is by far the screamer of the group.

@Bajamug I live in Australia and we don't have these Tacoma's over hear so I'm just going off youtube videos... Usually it gets about 8 - 8.3 seconds to 100km/h, which to me is not overly fast even for a utility vehicle. I'm used to utes over hear that in V6 form do 0-100 in 7 seconds or V8's that do 0-100 in 5.3 sec.

i would love one of these trucks!, but i feel like the 2.7 liter engine leaves it under powered. im surprised i haven't seen anyone online do an engine swap for that 4.0 yet.

Yes, there were some steep hills that I needed to use 3rd. I can now pull them in 4th. Nothing like a supercharger, but it did help.
