I would have liked to hear Gibson design with new strings. Noel Gallagher from Oasis recorded a lot of his hits on a Gibson J-45 acoustic.... I love the sound of that Guitar. REALLY HELPFUL INFORMATION THANK YOU

thanks for really showing the difference between new and old strings. i'm a lazy one that never destroy strings, and therefore never change 'em either. not good. and above this i usually reason it to be a cost doing it so... eh... don't remember the last time i changed, hehe. WILL do thouh next time i record something serious!

Should I EQ each mic separately or use an EQ over a buss that combines the sound of  both ?

@desideriumincarmen yeah i've heard of people like you haha. nah man it's cool if thats the sound you like. if everyone liked the same sounds we music would be boring. if it sounds right it is right. there are no rules.
