  • Great Tune!!!

  • Every time I hear this, I want to infiltrate a heavily guarded complex of some sort.

  • Solid Remix! Pun intended! :D

  • Doesn't matter if it's a revised version or the original, they need to use this song if a movie adaptation of metal gear 2 is ever made (unlikely)

  • wow, this sounds alot like an ost track from Snatcher.

  • I'm fairly sure if my ears could orgasm, they- oh, wait. They just did.

    Crap, what a mess.

  • DUNDUN! DUNDUN! DUNDUN! DUNDUNDUNDUNDUNDUN! DUNDUN! DUNDUN! DUNDUN! DUNDUNDUNDUNDUNDUN! DUNDUN! DUNDUN! DUNDUN! DUNDUNDUNDUNDUNDUN!

    GWAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...GWAAAAAAAAA...GWAAAAAAA...GWAAAAA GWAAAAAA!!!

DUN! DUNDUN! DUN DUN! DUN! DUN! DUNDUN! DUN DUN! DUN! DUN! DUN DUNDUN! DUN DUN! DUN! DUN!

BWAAAA BWAAAAAAAA!!! BWA BWA BWAAAA BWAAAAAA!!! BWA BWA BWAAAAAAAAAA BWAAAAAAAAAA!!! BWA BWA BWA BWA BWAAAA! BWAAAAAAA!!!

  • we live in an MGS world....the problem is who has the balls to push the first button......then or someone like snake stops it,...or we're all dead ;p

  • I like this version it's got the classic 90's rock feel to it something that Hanz Zimmer is very good even though he did not compose it i think he would be very good at it.

  • @navylaks2 'Classic 90's rock' ??? This sounds NOTHING like Nirvana! ><

  • @xiaochicash

The Classic 90's Rock action movie style of music, where does Nirvana come into the picture?

  • @navylaks2 The integral version(on the right) sounds more like what you described.

  • Can anyone play this on an instrument it sounds realy great.

  • Hmm... if John Carpenter used this for Escape from LA.....

  • Very nice, would have been better with more rocking out on the electric guitar at the end though....

  • Is metal gear 2 the only game this was in?

  • I love very much the version of the this track !!

  • amazing :)

  • Metal Gear konami's Legend Of Zelda.

  • This remix rocks, probably one of the best realizations of an 8-bit video game tune I've heard in a long time.

  • This just screams badass 80s action flick.

  • @ZDST it does

  • this theme rocks, hey can u may another with the this theme and let women hum while doing the main chorus

  • I didn't make it. See the description for credits.

  • oh my bad, i thought u were wolf so maybe i can give him that remark.

  • this rocks big time ty for putting it up dude :) *salutes oldskoolgamertje* atten hut!!X3

  • Great music awsome job!

  • A comment from original mp3 file: "made with Impulse Tracker"

    Means this is tracker music!

  • Eh, yeah?

  • um, just to mention, most tracker musics aren't just this good ts'all

  • *All* Wolf-remixes are tracked. Old ones in Impulse Tracker, more recent ones in reViSiT.

  • I found it interesting how all of the plotlines in mgs were based on real orginizations, DARPA for example/

  • Yea world like MGS would be full of Nukes and a TERRORIST PRESIDENT i don't want that.

  • In that case, we live in an MGS world...

  • it already has that, nukes and a terrorist president of outer heaven.

  • i wish the world was like in Metal Gear Solid, i wish there was a man like Big boss, who made a nation for soldiers and all that...

a dictator? maybe, a genius? perhaps, but at least he were loyal to himself and what he believed in..

  • Zack, it is a game. Pull yourself together.

  • but a very good game! lol

  • nah, we would live in instint chaos, but it seem like it would be cool

  • lol annd the whole world will be at war lol

  • why is this not the same as the one in MGS3 subsistence? thats supposed to be the pc engine version??

  • No. This is a fan-made adaptation.

  • That's a pretty good remix of that song. It's the best one I've heard yet.

Seeing MG 2 in the late 90's would have been interesting with music like this. I wonder how it would have sold. If it was on the Sega CD I'd say not too well at all. I might have bought it if I had one.

  • I can imagine if that game was re-released on PC Engine CD/Sega CD back in the day like Snatcher did, bet the intro would sound something like this :D

  • I could somehow even imagine a tune like this make it into today's games. Electronic music seems a bit underappreciated with the epic orchestral OST's of today.
