I've never seen this band live and heard sometimes they'll bring out their animated characters and have them perform a whole show. It's also apparent in this video that you never get to see the actual band, just shadows.

They arnt Doing a third gorillaz album becuase damon wants to do more work with afrikan express and he is writing anoter opera. he is doing another album with the good the bad and the queen plus there are rumours of a new blur album.

The only gorillaz thing he is doing is a movie, and thier wont be a new soundtrack for that, itll pretty much be rise of the ogre but on film. ERIC IDLE is supposedly directing it

Hm. I wouldn't know for sure, but I'm almost positive that this is not the end of Gorillaz. I read "rise of the ogre" and it would be a tragedy if they left us hanging. The Gorillaz are too successful to stop here.

I know that they aren't making the movie, sadly, but there are more albums set to come out soon. Plus, they are getting much more air-time on the radios where I live. I'm guessing the new album will be out soon.
