Not essential, with practice it doesn't take as much pressure. But this lock has some really really strong springs so i use the extra pressure to help prevent pins from unsetting.

Just a correction - that is the Mul-T-Lock Classic, the Interactive is easy to recognise as it's got no warding at all.. and of course the interactive pin on the key.

quite impressive kizza. I do actually believe that the lock you have just opened is a Mul T Lock 'interactive' pin in pin, and not a straight forward mul t lock (extremely hard to open) well done.

I'd do a re-shoot with the info people have provided me through comments but i've become pretty familiar with this lock and can open it out memory of the setting order now. Kind of feels like cheating. Eventually get my hands on one of the high end models and make another video (if i can pick it of course).

i don't think they make them like that anymore,tho...they have added a bunch of extra goodies...ie,that boss springy thing at the base of the key blade,near the bow..(the name escapes me...)
