i love the lyrics for this song. and it looks like les really had to pay attention to what he was playing cause i dont believe they play this live. rarely at the most. sick tone though, whatever the changes he made were i dont not like them.
awww yea man primus really sucks, les claypool is so insignificant withwhat creating an instrument and spanning over 3 decades of shit you probably couldn't match in originality technique dynamic or difficulty.
Ehhh, I don't know if I like how Les changed the bass line. He does that a lot with his songs. It's still really good though! I'm glad Jay's in the band. Ler is back to the strats now?!?
@squibble94 I don't think he's changed the bass line. It's just that the Brown Album was recorded on a 6-string and he's only playing his 4-string here.
@redwatchnewzealand Yeah, he changed it. Normally he did what the guitar did. The shape doesn't have to be changed from 6 to 4 string. I play it on 4 all the time.

@sausageface545 .... Actually it is a different bass line. On the album, he plays what Ler plays.

@squibble94
How did he change the bass line? If anything it sounds more funky to me..
jacobassmon 3 weeks ago
@jacobassmon Ler basically plays (in this video) what Les played on the album. Les is doing more of a minor shape instead of a B Mixolydian

this is good shit

I want a bass as thin as Les'.
Carl thompson, you make a mean bass sandwich.
Les, you make a mean mutant.
