AHEM!! Powerful laptop that has 3D for around the same price go with Envy or XPS,they are both 17.3 inch screens and will give you the effect your looking for,the Asus while still nice,glasses free is pathetic,for now active shutters rule,For me it's M17x 3D all day BITCHES!!!!
@GPO...but not like wearing 3D glasses that seems like the images jumps out the screen...remember the Glass Free 3D is passive and do not have shutters that adjust depending on the image, same exact thing as the Nintendo 3DS...the 3D glasses has active shutters that adjust on the image making 3D images clearer and more natural...

The Glasses free 3D technology hasnt matured enough yet...while it can do 3D without glasses the images dont realy pop out the screen like when your using Stereoscopic glasses...in the end 3D glasses still produce best results...
This looks amazing. How could they not have a 17" for the Naked Eye 3D? This patented technology is being used on large screen televisions. So the size shouldn't matter. I require a 17" for numerous open business applications, need big real estate. But definitely would love this for movies while on the road. I was looking at ASUS G74SX-3DE but that requires glasses, which I despise. Current televisions are quickly phasing them out and so should Asus. It's Nvidia which is pushing 3D glasses.
@JordanN3335 "up to 192-bits" doesn't mean it is 192 bit... it can be made 128 bit, and everyone has been saying asus made it 128bits.... which sucks, do u have proof that asus has it in 192 bits?
