I see your point but the human race is growing too fast so eating meat in your case will decline it I know it's not nice to say but meat is helping plus plants have feelings too
@elite0702 Oh, so nothing should be done to help the starving and suffering because of human over population? We should just put on our shades of indifference then? What about other solutions like education and family planning? And I'm sure the plants, having feelings and all, would just LOVE for us to continue mucking up their habitats and ecosystem. Not to mention, that we'll most likely cause mass ecosystem collapse if we continue our species' exponential growth. (meat hasn't helped so far)

Meat consumption may significantly increase a chimpanzee's risk of cancer. In fact, cancer is almost unheard of in chimps that eat their natural (frugivorous) diet. But when subjected to a high-protein diet, they produced 90% less of the anti-cancer substances (lignins and phytoestrogens). In fact, their levels are compared to "omnivorous men and women with breast cancer" in the study.
@lovebigboobs29 Actually humans acquire MORE cancer than chimps. Humans adopt inferior eating habits with biochemically incompatible food. Humans are in the hominidae great ape family with 1.6% genetic distance from chimps. Both humans and chimps digest fruit best.
“Protein and DNA evidence divides Hominoidea into Hylobatidae (gibbons) and Hominidae, family Hominidae into Ponginae (orangutan) and Homininae, and subfamily Homininae into two tribes, one for Gorilla, and the other for Pan (chimpanzee) and Homo.” (1)

@SkinnedWulf results like your anger will totally go away and every time yoyu show your face to others they will see happiness in you.you heard of go along to get along? well its no longer necessary for you.
@VforVictorybitches So in other words you become a pussy without meat?? That's another reason not to give up meat. I like my anger when needed. I dont want to be like freakin Mr. Rogers and be all happy all the time that would be boring.
Humans are the only mammals in whom gout develops spontaneously. Hyperuricemia only commonly develops in humans. Humans already synthesize UA and lack uricase enzymes so dietary uric acid in meat doesn't go through oxidative degradation and UA raise levels up to 10xs higher than other mammals, causing gout, nephrolithiasis and CVD in humans. Purine-free diet reduces UA from 297mmol/L to 178. Annals of Internal Med. 2005; 143;7, 501.
Much research has demonstrated that people perceive consumers of "good," low-fat foods as more moral, intelligent, and attractive, and perceive consumers of "bad," high-fat foods as less intelligent, less moral, and less attractive.
This may explain why meat consumers are often very insecure, hypersensitive and defensive about their own moral stature compared to vegetarians.
most people would not give meat up completely. most would be willingly eat less meat. i would be willing to eat meat only 2 times a week if meat was a lot more expensive.
Acta Neurochir Suppl. 2011;111:123-128. Gu Y, et al. Cerebral iron overload causes brain injury after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) in rats and pigs. We found that ICH resulted in the development of a reddish perihematomal zone, with iron accumulation and DNA damage within that zone. In conclusion, iron accumulates in the perihematomal zone and causes DNA damage. Systemic deferoxamine treatment reduces ICH-induced iron overload and DNA damage in pigs.
Because they try and force their whacked out liberal agenda/belief system on others instead of just shutting the fuck up and letting others do what they want,, that's why!
"Because they try and force their whacked out liberal agenda"
This site is not about your political views or the political views u are in revolt over. This site is about health aspects related to natural diet. Please provide some useful information or get the heck out of here and stop spamming. Nobody is 'forcing' anything on u. There are few things as silly as a meat-eater crying about being 'forced' to read healthy diet data.
I LOVE this and I Think it's interesting that whenever meat eaters see or hear anything about not eating meat they get angry and start to insult it instead of researching it themselves or just remain open minded even if they don't agree. They really become hateful sometimes with no provocation.
Okinawans eat fish and pork in their diet. They also eat a lot of plant food. Are they 40% more susceptible to cancers and 10% more susceptible to heart disease? No, what they do have is the healthiest, longest-lived population in the world. They have the highest number of centenarians, per capita, in the world. There are no vegan populations (for good reason) and there are no vegetarian populations that can say this. The idea that a 100% plant-based diet is optimal is total rubbish.
@auggiedoggy : Now if the message is to limit meat consumption, I'd agree. A meat-based diet has not produced a healthy population like the Okinawans.
@Chrisisms : I rarely get sick so perhaps I'm not a good example. Why say their diet isn't as good as a chimp's? A chimp's diet is optimal for Chimps, not humans.
But you do get sick, even at your young age. But with a biochemically compatible diet the seasonal cycles of sickness are a thing of the past. The degenerative diseases generally are acquired after years of digestive neglect so if you're already getting sick seasonally, expect the average degenerative disease risks.
I also acquired 1-2 colds/flues a yr (rarely getting sick) and didn't get sick otherwise when I consumed a mixed diet. Without meat I don't get sick.
That may just mean you're lazy. Humans can live to 120ish or perhaps much longer with proper diet. Just because you aren't working doesn't mean you are old yet but it is no surprise that you do get sick from time to time, already. Degenerative diseases take years and decades to develop.
@Chrisisms : No, it "may" mean that I find 35 years is long enough to work. Time to enjoy life. As far as getting sick, I usually get a cold or two per year, just before and just following winter.
@auggiedoggy "I usually get a cold or two per year"
My dog doesn't even get that. I used to get 2-3 a yr like the average westerner. You wouldn't need to get any if you ditched the mucous forming foods (meat, cooked starches, alcohol, etc).
@Chrisisms : So all you eat is fruit? I'm assuming that since you mentioned fruit a lot in your earlier comments. And if so, what definition of "fruit" do you use?
@Chrisisms : Yes, Okinawans eat considerably less animal foods than Westerners but they DO consume some animal products. There are no vegan populations and vegans certainly can't compete with the Okinawans or the Sardinians on matters of health and longevity. Nor can vegetarians for that matter. The healthiest, longest-lived people on earth are semi-vegetarian. So, who really has the perfect diet?
@auggiedoggy "Yes, Okinawans eat considerably less animal foods than Westerners but they DO consume some animal products"
And they do have some diseases of affluence, otherwise prevented without the diet compromises big or small. There is nothing new here...
"There are no vegan populations"
'vegan' is a political term like 'vegetarian' 'omnivarian' or 'pescatarian', etc. Humans are frugivores, digesting fruit best. It isn't a popularity contest.
@Chrisisms : Your "perfect" diet therefore is the fruitarian diet? The failure rate for the fruitarian diet is very high. It is, at best, a decent detox diet but long-term? people just can't survive on such a diet. There aren't any human populations that live only on fruit so to make any statements to the effect that it is a "perfect" diet is baseless. Humans were never frugivores. Non-human ancestors that lived over 7 million years ago may have been. I wish you luck on your diet though ...
"failure rate for the fruitarian diet is very high"
Same w/your 'failure rate' of breathing mechanics. Thus, 1/3 of the population is malnourished, 1/4 is undernourished/starving. And 1/2 is obese and/or on medication. You're just realizing this?
"a decent detox diet..."
Why retox after a detox?
"people just can't survive on such a diet."
So u failed or just didn't even try a plant-based diet?
@Chrisisms : I failed? No dear, I'm not into these idealistic, fad diets. So there are no healthy populations? LOL! Judging from this and your other responses I can see this is a total waste of time. Hopefully you are not in a position to actually give nutritional advice to people. You can screw up your life but it would be an atrocity if you were to inflict your lack of knowledge on others. Best of luck with your fruitarian diet. The odds are that you won't stick to it ...
1/3 of the population is malnourished, 1/3 is undernourished/starving and 1/4 is overweight. More than 1/2 the population is on at least 1 medication long-term and most of the rest cycle off over the counter drugs, regularly. The avg bowel movement is 1/day as most ppl are functionally constipated. So all u are left with is some populations are relatively less unhealthy than others as u praise them.
@Chrisisms : My diet IS a plant-based diet, just like the Okinawan diet is plant-based. Plant-based does not necessarily mean vegan nor vegetarian. People often make this mistake when they hear the term "plant-based".
@auggiedoggy You're playing word games. By plant-based I mean only plants. Meat consumption with plants is both meat and plant-based. One degrades digestion, the other enhances digestion. Plants reverse meat diseases.
@auggiedoggy "Okinawans eat fish and pork in their diet."
Although no average cultural diet is perfect, just as representatives of any given culture don't customarily exercises optimally, It seems that by extrapolating from the diet differences of the traditional Okinawan diet in the hope of achieving similar results, the biggest differences between Okinawan diets and Western diets are the much higher phytonutrient and lower overall fat intakes.
Breathing air gives you cancer, sleeping the wrong way gives you cancer and I'm sure if you poke your eye it will give you cancer. It is not just meat...and as far as pesticides, they are all over fruit as well...and make sure next time you turn your music down, its a little over dramatic...
I tried not eating meat for about two weeks. Near the end of the second week i was near death by malnutrition. I was weak and near insanity. I had zero energy. Some people can survive without meat but some cannot. It is a question of genetics. Not everyone is the same.
I followed the advice of a person who was a vegan for more than 10 years. It didn't work for me however. If it works for you that's cool but I am living proof it doesn't work for everyone.
Oh yea meat causes cancer for sure...that's why all of the traditional Inuit who eat a 90%+ meat diet have no cancer, oh wait, THEY DON'T. Go ahead and eat soybeans and I'll eat grass-fed beef, we'll see who dies of cancer first.
It's not a topic for discussion in limits of YouTube comments. It is toooooooo broad. Besides, I didn't confirm strictly that humans originated from monkeys. It's just one of the theories, and no one knows exactly the human's origin. Anyway, both this and meat topics are too serious for discussion on short comments.

@AstronomyGuru1 yes we can eat meat IF WE COOK IT! Most predators do not need to kill the "bad stuff" in meat, by cooking it.... they have the necessary chemistry and structures to deal with it.
@Psycatalyst There is overwhelming evidence all over the web, open your eyes. We can't post links on youtube, but you can easily find these there and in libraries.
I know its not nice to find out that what you have been eating for decades is a killer, but either embrace the knowledge we have now, or carry on as you are.
@Psycatalyst Just googling some of the points made in the video and they seem to check out. What he has put is hardly bold, unknown and wild claims. I never knew about Denmark and Norway going vegetarian during the 1st and 2nd world war respectively - very interesting, and its part of history and therefore accurate.
I never argue about claims, and research it myself....as you look like an idiot if you use "sources please" as a counter argument, and they are readily there on the web.
Did I say I was using the arguments Against eating meat? please point out where.
I am just stating that this video makes bold claims without backing them up. (ie. eating meat cause cancer and TB 2:20, being vegetarian saves forest 3:16) When claims are inconclusive and TB rates are declining (Trends in Tuberculosis—United States, 2007 CDC) Also calcium loss studies show that they also occur in vegetarians (PMID 19809862) Sources show evidence.
@Psycatalyst I don't think its a bold claim to say that if we all turned vegetarian, deforestation would reduce - its just logic. Vast areas of forest, including rainforest are cut down every year for huge areas to put cattle, and also land for crops to FEED the cattle (so double the waste). If we were to cut down on meat, and head towards vegetarianism - there is absolutely no doubt deforestation would reduce substantially.
Haven't looked into rates of TB yet, but will look into it.
What a lame concept. It's given by a Sikh Sidhant whose religion says that it is prohibited to eat meat. Because of his religion he said that meat shouldn't be eaten. We, human beings, are given both molars and flat teeth unlike a goat or a lion (sheep has only flat teeth and lion has only pointed teeth). We are given both types of teeth only to eat both, vegetables as well as flesh. Besides, flesh has required protein which is necessary for the shaping of muscles. This was just lame concept.
No way. Humans are vegetarian animals. If they originated from monkeys, it is an excellent proof. If they didn't, there's a myriade of other proofs. People don't have a need in meat!
Where is the sources for your data. I be more inclined to believe you if you posted your sources instead of throwing around this percent here, or that percent there. I can do it too. 100% of the people who have done any actual study on a vegetarian diet knows that this vid is full of half-truths and misrepresentation.
Actually, this video is correct. Humans are not supposed to eat meat, as they are primates, and closer related to herbivores than to carnivores. We do not have long enough digestive tracts to properly digest meat. In carnivores, the digestive tract is 1/3 the body length. Meat is digested quickly, as it is raw and will decay. We can eat meat, as we cook it, but it does cause side effects, such as colon cancer. Also, we do not have canines, much like other herbivores, and carnivores make protein.
This makes little to no sense. Carnivores are designed to eat meat. We can choose to eat meat and vegi's. The only problem with today's meat is that we screw it up with bullshit. Not ALL meat is jacked up like this. This focuses on mass produced meat.
@abesut "there is just as many 'plant' releated diseases"
False. Please address the fact uric acid and heme Fe contribute to cancer, heart disease, gout, liver disease, etc. Fruit reverses these diseases with phytochemicals.
Meat intake contributes to all the popular degenerative diseases. Fruit reverses, prevents or postpones diseases. Fruit uses opposing digestive processes to promote healthy digestion but meat degrades the digestive system and contributes to digestive disorders.
@Chrisisms so you're saying that a vegan diet is perfect? and our species has been eating meat since, well forever. for the last 100.000 years at least, so its actually natural for us to eat meat as well. to get to the point, we have eaten meat since the dawn of mankind so why stop now? and if it degrades the digestive system, then how can we as humans still be alive after 100.000years? if you eat meat and plants in a moderate amount then its all good. do you mean heme iron?
@abesut "so you're saying that a vegan diet is perfect?"
I don't see where u are imagining that. In future can u please post inline responses? This is just common netiquette. The topic is the xenobiotics and antinutrients in meat contributing to the popular degenerative diseases and the opposing digestive processes of fruit which reverse and prevent those meat related diseases. I introduced uric acid and heme Fe from meat contributing to diseases of affluence. Will u not attempt to defend meat?
@abesut "our species has been eating meat since, well forever. for the last 100.000 years at least"
And still get sick from meat intake. Those ancestors consumed other humans too. Does that mean human flesh is biochemically compatible? You see, all you're doing is promoting the status quo culture, rather than the optimal/biochemically compatible diet. It is well known that if any mammal is starving, they can resort to meat. The question is what is healthy and natural when food is available?
"meat and plants in a moderate amount then its all good"
Although this is a popular cliche, no safe minimum amounts of meat intake for humans have been established, "A single exposure to a carcinogen is unlikely to be problematical, carcinogens are most dangerous through repeated exposure even at very low levels- UK Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).
If u consume 'moderate meat' (whatever that amount is...) then you maintain moderate risk for degenerative diseases. 'All good'?
Chrisisms (1 day ago) 'If u consume 'moderate meat' (whatever that amount is...) then you maintain moderate risk for degenerative diseases. 'All good'?
It wasn't a discussion. I just used you to demonstrate your data intolerance to those who are sincerely seeking information related to natural/healthy diets.
@Chrisisms soo my grandpa is 88 dyers old and hes been eating meat all his life (and still does) and he hasn't had cancer or any heart disease yet.........but you say its bad for people?
@AllNightLong3333 "soo my grandpa is 88 dyers old and hes been eating meat all his life (and still does) and he hasn't had cancer or any heart disease yet........"
Think how much longer AND healthier he would be off meat... CHD and cancer aren't the only health conditions related to meat intake. Add dementia from haem iron, obesity, colostasis, acid reflux, excess cortisol production, etc...
"but you say its bad for people?"
No. Please quote. I say meat is unhealthy for ppl.
@Chrisisms and he has no health conditions at all except for asthma........his doctor recommends him to keep eating meat..........and vegetables and fruit..............and you mentioned "obesity'..... hes no where close to being obese. He still walks, drives, and unbelievably jogs every morning....... but meat is unhealthy?
And don't go around quoting people on their comments.....it makes you look like a dick.
"he has no health conditions at all except for asthma"
J Asthma. 1985;22(1):45-55. Vegan regimen with reduced medication in the treatment of bronchial asthma. In almost all cases, medication was withdrawn or drastically reduced. There was a significant decrease in asthma symptoms.
"his doctor recommends him to keep eating meat"
$o Dr corpus can make more money!
"don't go around quoting"
So u can lie.
Meat also degrades the digestive system, causing hard, infrequent stools w/strain.
@Chrisisms Does beer and sodas also cause some diseases, cancer, or heart failure? Does my TV cause cancer too? What about my air conditioner that runs on Freon? Does that make my life shorter? Will my wood floors kill me? Will my ceramic tiles make me have lung problems? Will my microwave fry my brain? Will my football cleats cause me to have a bone disease? Will my milk make my stomach melt? Will the chlorine in my hot tub and pool cause me have brain cancer? Damn I'm in danger!
"Does beer and sodas also cause some diseases, cancer?"
Yes, will u feed your baby beer, too? Real food- blueberries PREVENT cancer.
"Does my TV cause cancer"
There is no need to be paranoid. Diet compromises are the biggest causes of cancer and preventable.
"Will my wood floors kill me?"
No. Floors don't attack ppl. They are inanimate. Don't tell me u are going to eat your floor with your meat... Then yes they would go well together. Some fiber would help..
@Chrisisms Dude really? Are you that fucking stupid to figure out that my comment was 100% sarcastic? And i cant feed a baby a beer or any kind of beverage at all because you drink beverages not eat them...LMAO! Yes i eat blueberries as well as other fruits and vegetables......ALSO WITH MEAT..meat isn't bad for you, your just too stupid to realize that.....you get all your "INFO" of of some scripted PETA website..i know i just checked..and you know what else will kill you? A bullet in the head.
People have always ate meat and always will get over it. I'd rather eat meat than be a sick looking pale liberal vegan who goes on about meat being dangerous but still drinks fluoridated water and smokes cigarettes. I also thought it was hilarious that you used the braveheart theme for this. William Wallace would of made a sheath for his sword out of your scrotum.
Keep the crap (toxins) out of u such as... fast food, processed foods, SUGAR, aspartame (artificial sweetners), fried foods (trans fats), flour, table salt, enriched anything, over the counter drugs (like tylenol), prescription drugs, alcohol, etc.
think NATURE - eat WHOLE foods, not 2 much, mostly plants. Fruits, veggies, Nuts & seeds. Meat if eaten, moderation & should be clean. Grass feed beef, wild fish (not farmed), etc. Marijuana-Cannabis-Pot for MEDICINE.
NO!!. Meat means BBQ, which means having an enjoyable time with friends & family on summers. That feeling is fantastic !! On top of that you could also grill outstandingly healthy fish. Listen to what MopDMTBARTL says here instead. Hes smart. If you wanna miss one of foods greatest gifts you really dont know what youre missing. And look at the japanese people. They live long happy lives and theyre not vegetarians. I love eating salads with my meat !
It is nagging so is the healthy eating and the condoms thing its for dumbasses who cant realise things for themselves unless the message is rammed in the head, noone cares about vegans
The whole 3% thing was referring to the huge amount of videos compared to a fairly low population and yes i can read my sentence ,you must be retarded if you had ANY trouble reading my comment despite there being only one spelling error and in future reply to my actual comment so i get notified
There is still a fuckload more B12 in the meat than in vegetables. And Im telling you if your lost and just eat plants you have a much more increased chance of sickness then if you eat cooked fresh meat.
Our alimentary canal is only 12 times the length of our bodies because we evolved from herbivores and we havent fully evolved to handle a meat eating diet because we dont need to handle it. It stays in our bodies for so long because we cant digest vegetable matter properly due to a lack of Catalase. So the whole problem of meat staying in our bodies too long is the problem of eating vegetables.
screw stupid vegan propaganda. jesus! whats with all these anti meat videos when like 3% of the population is vegetarian why dont everyoine who makes these kinds of videos just fuck off and let everyone eat what they want nothing was ever solved by nagging people
As a strict vegan myself, i keep healthy and energetic by having a simple balanced diet that consists of vegetables, fruits, nuts and beef, pork, chicken, moose, whale, reindeer, fish, lamb, birds, eggs and milk.
If not eating meat was so smart, the whole world would do it ! Not that many people are uneducated.
And let me say this, I am educated enough to know that this video is propaganda and is mostly laughable.
Besides a balanced diet, sun and exercise is important.
God created everything. He never said that we should not eat meat. All things that God created is good. The problem is the Hindu religion that has cows like gods. So, they fight against people who eat meat. I say eat meat
Spare us all that "feed the starving" self righteous bullshit.
If you people really gave a fuck about the starving and needy, you'd be on a humanitarian mission in one of those countries instead of on your computer in the comfort of your home.
You guys are like those assholes who wear "united we stand" and "save darfur" t-shirts and think that donating a dollar to a bullshit charity every 3 months is going to make a life saving difference in this world of shit. Bunch of fakes...
There is some info that leads many scientists to believe that solar activity has been underestimated when it comes to global warming. Google "global warming holocene" for more info.
I don't have anything to say about the starving. The food industry isn't going to feed people out of a sense of philanthropy b/c they're a business and are really only out for money. It's sad, but it's the truth and not likely to change.
Also, people are fat because they overeat, although chems are not healthy.
There are many more reasons than over-eating for being obese.
Thankfully, contrary to your belief there are plenty of people in this world that believe in charity and helping others. We have the abilities to sort these problems out, it's now a case of campaigning and shaming our leaders into doing it.
Whether people get fed or not, meat eaters are still responsible for us losing our rainforests. They cool our planet in keeping water cycles going, produce our O2, house life and medicines...
If we're to do something positive, the best thing we can do is to feed the starving people with all the meat eaters of this world. Your 'vast majority' would then have also helped stave off the population crisis at the same time.
As i only hear a repeating record i bet you could have saved me that comment. I understand what you're saying, and i don't share your opinion. Flipside, what would we have to destory to feed all the vegans if we all turned our backs on meat? Only a repetition of something that already is?
We wouldn't have to destroy anything to feed all the vegans. The fact is we could feed the 862 million starving today with just one fifth of the grains used to feed our farmed livestock, without destroying anything. I don't really get where you're coming from.
Actually you're wrong (again). Personally I'm studying for an environmental science degree with the aim to actually make a physical difference to some of these problems. The small amount of time I do spend on the computer is used researching these topics. Maybe you should spend some time looking at and judging yourself....
I agree with the notion that (assuming our species survives) future generations will look back in horror at our eating of dead animal parts in much the same way as we look back at the slave trade today
@bbagginz Somehow I doubt this, simply based on the fact that our ancestors have made meat a part of their diets for tens of thousands of years. Most people nowadays eat way more meat than they should, but there's nothing wrong with a bit now and then, from a dietary/health standpoint.
Had our species never eaten meat the essential proteins that we require for our frontal lobe development would never had occurred and we would still be wondering around like apes foraging for food. What a shame that would have been as we would have never know the wonders of Football, beer and porno. Hey, if God did not intend for us to eat animals he would not have made them out of meat!
"0.6 grams of daily brain growth, we can see that in terms of nutrient makeup, this would consist of 0.47 grams of water, 0.059 grams of protein, 0.056 grams of fat, and 0.0084 grams of ash. This trivial nutrient requirement is, of course, easily met by human breast milk during the period of maximum growth rate"-Coleman
If God did not intend for humans to use their minds, he would not have made them with brains.
WRONG eating meat won't cause osteoporosis, eating plants will due to the fact that plants absorbs phophorus from the ground which we ingest which robs our bones of calcium. It is gone in meat due to the animals being tortured on a so called organic diet because they lose bone mass (we don't eat the bones) and thus, eating meat is good for bones.
Meat contains more acidifying elements than plants. Plants are alkaline, meat is acidifying. The alkaline minerals are robbed from teeth, bones and blood after consuming meat to bring the body back to homeostasis. There are about 10 basic elements to build bones and calcium is only one of those, merely loading up on Ca only outcompetes the many other alkalizing elements dominant in plants. This is why Okinawans don't consume dairy traditionally and rarely today with lowest bone fracture rates.
Actually, eating meat DOES cause your bones to become less dense. Because the by products of meat digestion cause the blood to become acidic, and the body neutralizes its acidity by extracting Calcium from the bones to maintain the right pH in the body.
I am a nutritional science student, so I know what you say is wrong.
The updated scientific journals no longer use the term 'omnivore' as a dietary classification. Part of the reason is because in science classification requires listing criteria which members must meet in order to qualify for a particular classification. There is no scientific consensus on the definition of 'omnivore' though and what approximations of the concept of scavenging are described do not represent humans anyway.
Humans are natural frugivores, digesting fruit best.
Wow. You would be one boring fuck to go to Outback Steak House with. So, what the fuck do you do when you go to a restaurant? Hit the salad bar and sit in the corner hoping that you wont have to watch some poor shmo cutting up his meal and enjoying it? And at the grocery store, after you finish with the produce section do you close your eyes and run screaming past the deli counter saying " I cant see you, I cant see you La La La, La La La...?
'You would be one boring fuck to go to Outback Steak House with'
A challenge to entertain you with a castration anxiety-induced necrophagous diet at the expense of health. Sounds tempting.. You have NO diet experience.
'cutting up his meal and enjoying'
You really think I never tried your inherited diet?
'after you finish with the produce section'
I'm usually done by then.
Do you turn your back on your own backyard before driving there? That's where the most interesting food can be..
My my, you are a simpleton. Your lexicon is exceeded only by your low reading and comprehension threshold. I will make this simple for you. "Necrophagous" refers to dead rotting flesh from a corpse of some kind, not prepared, aged meat. "Diet" is ANY and ALL sustenance intake, not a "Dietary Regimen". You should attempt to wage your arguments with the basics instead of trying so hard as you are very poor at it. But keep your head up and enjoy your life as you are most likely healthier than I.
All meat begins putrifying right away. You're living in a dream world with your little hamburger happy meals and sodas. Aged meat IS dead, rotting flesh, it's not lettuce. You can dress up the 'aged meat' all you want, it also rots in the stomach during long transit since it takes up to 4 days for total transit in the long alimentary canal of humans.
Ahhhhh...... I just returned home from The Longhorn Steak House and I am so full. Yep, I had a 22 oz. Rib Eye that was marinated in the tears of a thousand starving children and served rare, running with blood. YUMMY! Now I am going to drink a copious amount of Jim Beam and watch You Tube videos of animal being processed for the meat departments at supermarkets world wide while I await a late night dinner of roast suckling pig. MMMMMM......
I see your point but the human race is growing too fast so eating meat in your case will decline it I know it's not nice to say but meat is helping plus plants have feelings too

In fact, their levels are compared to "omnivorous men and women with breast cancer" in the study.
Chrisisms 1 month ago
@Chrisisms Thats nice concidering we are not chimps. So who gives a fuck about them getting cancer. We are omnivore humans and not chimps.
lovebigboobs29 1 month ago
@lovebigboobs29 Actually humans acquire MORE cancer than chimps. Humans adopt inferior eating habits with biochemically incompatible food. Humans are in the hominidae great ape family with 1.6% genetic distance from chimps. Both humans and chimps digest fruit best.

Appetite. 2011 Apr;56(2):447-50. Meat, morals, and masculinity. Ruby MB, Heine SJ

In conclusion, iron accumulates in the perihematomal zone and causes DNA damage. Systemic deferoxamine treatment reduces ICH-induced iron overload and DNA damage in pigs.
Meat has excess iron.

The idea that a 100% plant-based diet is optimal is total rubbish.
auggiedoggy 8 months ago
@auggiedoggy : Now if the message is to limit meat consumption, I'd agree. A meat-based diet has not produced a healthy population like the Okinawans.
auggiedoggy 8 months ago
@auggiedoggy If one were to compare chimp diets to any traditional human diet, one would discover an even greater disparity of phytonutrient intake.
So Okinawans aren't as sick as say, you but they still consume some meat and their diets aren't as good as chimps.
Chrisisms 1 month ago
@Chrisisms : I rarely get sick so perhaps I'm not a good example. Why say their diet isn't as good as a chimp's? A chimp's diet is optimal for Chimps, not humans.
auggiedoggy 1 month ago
@auggiedoggy "I rarely get sick"
Chrisisms 1 month ago
@Chrisisms " Young age? I'm retired. lol
auggiedoggy 1 month ago
@auggiedoggy "I'm retired"
That may just mean you're lazy. Humans can live to 120ish or perhaps much longer with proper diet. Just because you aren't working doesn't mean you are old yet but it is no surprise that you do get sick from time to time, already. Degenerative diseases take years and decades to develop.
Chrisisms 1 month ago
@Chrisisms : No, it "may" mean that I find 35 years is long enough to work. Time to enjoy life. As far as getting sick, I usually get a cold or two per year, just before and just following winter.
auggiedoggy 1 month ago
@auggiedoggy "I usually get a cold or two per year"
My dog doesn't even get that. I used to get 2-3 a yr like the average westerner. You wouldn't need to get any if you ditched the mucous forming foods (meat, cooked starches, alcohol, etc).
Chrisisms 1 month ago
@Chrisisms : So all you eat is fruit? I'm assuming that since you mentioned fruit a lot in your earlier comments. And if so, what definition of "fruit" do you use?
auggiedoggy 1 month ago
@auggiedoggy "Okinawans eat fish and pork in their diet"
Okinawans consume less fish and pigs than US citizens, so naturally they live that much longer with less diseases.
"They also eat a lot of plant food"
More than most westerners but their diets aren't perfect either...
Chrisisms 6 months ago
@Chrisisms : Yes, Okinawans eat considerably less animal foods than Westerners but they DO consume some animal products. There are no vegan populations and vegans certainly can't compete with the Okinawans or the Sardinians on matters of health and longevity. Nor can vegetarians for that matter. The healthiest, longest-lived people on earth are semi-vegetarian. So, who really has the perfect diet?
auggiedoggy 6 months ago
@auggiedoggy "Yes, Okinawans eat considerably less animal foods than Westerners but they DO consume some animal products"
And they do have some diseases of affluence, otherwise prevented without the diet compromises big or small. There is nothing new here...
"There are no vegan populations"
'vegan' is a political term like 'vegetarian' 'omnivarian' or 'pescatarian', etc. Humans are frugivores, digesting fruit best. It isn't a popularity contest.
Chrisisms 6 months ago
@Chrisisms : Your "perfect" diet therefore is the fruitarian diet? The failure rate for the fruitarian diet is very high. It is, at best, a decent detox diet but long-term? people just can't survive on such a diet. There aren't any human populations that live only on fruit so to make any statements to the effect that it is a "perfect" diet is baseless. Humans were never frugivores. Non-human ancestors that lived over 7 million years ago may have been. I wish you luck on your diet though ...
auggiedoggy 6 months ago
"failure rate for the fruitarian diet is very high"
Same w/your 'failure rate' of breathing mechanics. Thus, 1/3 of the population is malnourished, 1/4 is undernourished/starving. And 1/2 is obese and/or on medication. You're just realizing this?
"a decent detox diet..."
Why retox after a detox?
"people just can't survive on such a diet."
So u failed or just didn't even try a plant-based diet?
"...human populations that live only on fruit"
There aren't any 'populations' healthy either.
Chrisisms 6 months ago
@Chrisisms : I failed? No dear, I'm not into these idealistic, fad diets. So there are no healthy populations? LOL! Judging from this and your other responses I can see this is a total waste of time. Hopefully you are not in a position to actually give nutritional advice to people. You can screw up your life but it would be an atrocity if you were to inflict your lack of knowledge on others. Best of luck with your fruitarian diet. The odds are that you won't stick to it ...
auggiedoggy 6 months ago
"So there are no healthy populations? LOL!"

@auggiedoggy You're playing word games. By plant-based I mean only plants. Meat consumption with plants is both meat and plant-based. One degrades digestion, the other enhances digestion. Plants reverse meat diseases.

CompassionateChap 11 months ago
@CompassionateChap
Psycatalyst 11 months ago

Also, we do not have canines, much like other herbivores, and carnivores make protein.
elfontherun 1 year ago
Vegans are weak and sallow people. Meat gave out primitive minds the ability to expand and develop the frontal lobe.
1933SteelersFan 1 year ago
This makes little to no sense. Carnivores are designed to eat meat. We can choose to eat meat and vegi's. The only problem with today's meat is that we screw it up with bullshit. Not ALL meat is jacked up like this. This focuses on mass produced meat.

@Chrisisms are you aware of that there is just as many 'plant' releated diseases?
abesut 10 months ago
@abesut "there is just as many 'plant' releated diseases"
False. Please address the fact uric acid and heme Fe contribute to cancer, heart disease, gout, liver disease, etc. Fruit reverses these diseases with phytochemicals.
Meat intake contributes to all the popular degenerative diseases. Fruit reverses, prevents or postpones diseases. Fruit uses opposing digestive processes to promote healthy digestion but meat degrades the digestive system and contributes to digestive disorders.
Chrisisms 10 months ago
@Chrisisms so you're saying that a vegan diet is perfect? and our species has been eating meat since, well forever. for the last 100.000 years at least, so its actually natural for us to eat meat as well. to get to the point, we have eaten meat since the dawn of mankind so why stop now? and if it degrades the digestive system, then how can we as humans still be alive after 100.000years? if you eat meat and plants in a moderate amount then its all good. do you mean heme iron?
abesut 10 months ago
@abesut "so you're saying that a vegan diet is perfect?"
I don't see where u are imagining that. In future can u please post inline responses? This is just common netiquette. The topic is the xenobiotics and antinutrients in meat contributing to the popular degenerative diseases and the opposing digestive processes of fruit which reverse and prevent those meat related diseases. I introduced uric acid and heme Fe from meat contributing to diseases of affluence. Will u not attempt to defend meat?
Chrisisms 10 months ago
@abesut "our species has been eating meat since, well forever. for the last 100.000 years at least"
And still get sick from meat intake. Those ancestors consumed other humans too. Does that mean human flesh is biochemically compatible? You see, all you're doing is promoting the status quo culture, rather than the optimal/biochemically compatible diet. It is well known that if any mammal is starving, they can resort to meat. The question is what is healthy and natural when food is available?
Chrisisms 10 months ago
"meat and plants in a moderate amount then its all good"
Although this is a popular cliche, no safe minimum amounts of meat intake for humans have been established, "A single exposure to a carcinogen is unlikely to be problematical, carcinogens are most dangerous through repeated exposure even at very low levels- UK Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).

there is non. You are fooling youreself. we can perfectly replace everything that meat can give us. There is plenty of technology!!!

And Im telling you if your lost and just eat plants you have a much more increased chance of sickness then if you eat cooked fresh meat.
mackysplace 2 years ago
Our alimentary canal is only 12 times the length of our bodies because we evolved from herbivores and we havent fully evolved to handle a meat eating diet because we dont need to handle it. It stays in our bodies for so long because we cant digest vegetable matter properly due to a lack of Catalase. So the whole problem of meat staying in our bodies too long is the problem of eating vegetables.
mackysplace 2 years ago
screw stupid vegan propaganda. jesus! whats with all these anti meat videos when like 3% of the population is vegetarian why dont everyoine who makes these kinds of videos just fuck off and let everyone eat what they want nothing was ever solved by nagging people
brennan118 2 years ago
@brennan118
There is undeniable evidence that the meat industry IS destroying the planet for all of us.
This time bomb is easily stoppable as there are plenty of alternatives now on the market, it's not like meat's addictive.
How do you suggest people are educated then?

i beg to differ, i get convulsions if i dont eat a steak or a pork chop every 4 hours
MrDRW88 2 years ago

As a strict vegan myself, i keep healthy and energetic by having a simple balanced diet that consists of vegetables, fruits, nuts and beef, pork, chicken, moose, whale, reindeer, fish, lamb, birds, eggs and milk.
If not eating meat was so smart, the whole world would do it ! Not that many people are uneducated.
And let me say this, I am educated enough to know that this video is propaganda and is mostly laughable.
Besides a balanced diet, sun and exercise is important.
Merry Xmas :o)

LittleDragon5 2 years ago
The eating of animal flesh is doomed? BWAHAHAHA, what a crock of shit! The vast majority still consume meat.
Ok, there might be a couple disadvantages to eating meat but there's an advantage that overrules them all: IT'S TASTY!
Don't like it, don't care. Go back to stuffing yourselves with tofu and soy.
Have a nice day.
LittleDragon5 2 years ago
Meat farming practises are destroying the planet . Emmisions are huge.
If we freed up all the land used for cattle and used to grow the crops to feed them, we'd easily be able to grow enough to feed the world.
By selfishly eating meat, you're not only turning your back on the starving, you're actually paying to support the continuation of this crisis.
Meat these days isn't just 'meat' anyways, it's full of antibiotics and growth hormones and we wonder why humans are becoming obese?
wattever8 2 years ago
There is some info that leads many scientists to believe that solar activity has been underestimated when it comes to global warming. Google "global warming holocene" for more info.
I don't have anything to say about the starving. The food industry isn't going to feed people out of a sense of philanthropy b/c they're a business and are really only out for money. It's sad, but it's the truth and not likely to change.
Also, people are fat because they overeat, although chems are not healthy.
LittleDragon5 2 years ago
There are many more reasons than over-eating for being obese.
Thankfully, contrary to your belief there are plenty of people in this world that believe in charity and helping others. We have the abilities to sort these problems out, it's now a case of campaigning and shaming our leaders into doing it.
Whether people get fed or not, meat eaters are still responsible for us losing our rainforests. They cool our planet in keeping water cycles going, produce our O2, house life and medicines...
wattever8 2 years ago
If we're to do something positive, the best thing we can do is to feed the starving people with all the meat eaters of this world. Your 'vast majority' would then have also helped stave off the population crisis at the same time.
wattever8 2 years ago
Hahaha, i hope they feed you to some starving child. Then they would save us the bullshit.
Opethvince 2 years ago
You're 'bullshit' is responsible for most of the pollution of our waterways. Farming methods create more damage than all industry combined.

don't think this is retorical please, but how?
cakeandcookies97 2 years ago
As i only hear a repeating record i bet you could have saved me that comment. I understand what you're saying, and i don't share your opinion. Flipside, what would we have to destory to feed all the vegans if we all turned our backs on meat? Only a repetition of something that already is?
Opethvince 2 years ago
Maybe it's time you moved up to CDs.
We wouldn't have to destroy anything to feed all the vegans. The fact is we could feed the 862 million starving today with just one fifth of the grains used to feed our farmed livestock, without destroying anything. I don't really get where you're coming from.
wattever8 2 years ago
Actually you're wrong (again). Personally I'm studying for an environmental science degree with the aim to actually make a physical difference to some of these problems. The small amount of time I do spend on the computer is used researching these topics. Maybe you should spend some time looking at and judging yourself....

Yeah and also the Spanish Flu might have had something to do with that propagandist.

Good vid.
I agree with the notion that (assuming our species survives) future generations will look back in horror at our eating of dead animal parts in much the same way as we look back at the slave trade today
bbagginz 2 years ago 4
yea, why do we need slave trade when we got china
rui769 1 year ago
@bbagginz Somehow I doubt this, simply based on the fact that our ancestors have made meat a part of their diets for tens of thousands of years. Most people nowadays eat way more meat than they should, but there's nothing wrong with a bit now and then, from a dietary/health standpoint.
sanddollarscholar 1 year ago
Had our species never eaten meat the essential proteins that we require for our frontal lobe development would never had occurred and we would still be wondering around like apes foraging for food. What a shame that would have been as we would have never know the wonders of Football, beer and porno. Hey, if God did not intend for us to eat animals he would not have made them out of meat!
1933SteelersFan 2 years ago

HAN56HAN 2 years ago
Meat contains more acidifying elements than plants. Plants are alkaline, meat is acidifying. The alkaline minerals are robbed from teeth, bones and blood after consuming meat to bring the body back to homeostasis. There are about 10 basic elements to build bones and calcium is only one of those, merely loading up on Ca only outcompetes the many other alkalizing elements dominant in plants. This is why Okinawans don't consume dairy traditionally and rarely today with lowest bone fracture rates.
Chrisisms 2 years ago
Actually, eating meat DOES cause your bones to become less dense. Because the by products of meat digestion cause the blood to become acidic, and the body neutralizes its acidity by extracting Calcium from the bones to maintain the right pH in the body.
I am a nutritional science student, so I know what you say is wrong.

chris4u2nv5 2 years ago
Absolute bollocks.
1) We are omnivores
2)The reason the deathrate of disease went down was because they were getting shot.
3)Yes, it does cause more heart disease.
4)Protein=loss of calcium? I don't think so
5)Yup, not as much as not taking the plane or car
...etc.
thebfg77 2 years ago

1933SteelersFan 2 years ago
'You would be one boring fuck to go to Outback Steak House with'
A challenge to entertain you with a castration anxiety-induced necrophagous diet at the expense of health. Sounds tempting.. You have NO diet experience.
'cutting up his meal and enjoying'
You really think I never tried your inherited diet?
'after you finish with the produce section'
I'm usually done by then.
Do you turn your back on your own backyard before driving there? That's where the most interesting food can be..
Chrisisms 2 years ago
My my, you are a simpleton. Your lexicon is exceeded only by your low reading and comprehension threshold. I will make this simple for you. "Necrophagous" refers to dead rotting flesh from a corpse of some kind, not prepared, aged meat. "Diet" is ANY and ALL sustenance intake, not a "Dietary Regimen". You should attempt to wage your arguments with the basics instead of trying so hard as you are very poor at it. But keep your head up and enjoy your life as you are most likely healthier than I.
1933SteelersFan 2 years ago
All meat begins putrifying right away. You're living in a dream world with your little hamburger happy meals and sodas. Aged meat IS dead, rotting flesh, it's not lettuce. You can dress up the 'aged meat' all you want, it also rots in the stomach during long transit since it takes up to 4 days for total transit in the long alimentary canal of humans.
Personal attacks = no understanding of the topic.

Wish you were here, I would let you do my dishes.
